Johnnys first ever album, written entirely without budget, on a Playstation with Jester Interactives "MUSIC" and "MUSIC 2000" features deliberate dance tunes and theme based, synth based muzak. Purposely written to be used as Soundtrack music for films, TV and advertising, each tune represents exactly what it says on the tin.

Johnny's second album "Cause N FX" was written on Playstation 2 with Jester Interactive's "MUSIC 3000" as well as featuring acoustic work by 4 track recording. An album with strong themes of rebellion, maturing and the ending of eras. His first album to include vocal work and much more emphasis on lyrics and structure. It includes the first early versions of "C Throo", "Hubbub", "Fillin Up Space" and "Misled Inventor" - all songs now used and performed with the rock band he now fronts, "SiNKiNG CiTiES". Almost ironically, after no success in achieving his goal of featuring on soundtracks with "Template Soundtrack Music"; "Hubbub" became the first tune to be used in a soundtrack. It was used in the end credits for "Consolevania's Online Fluff Piece", a comedy documentary about the Scottish computer games industry for The Edinburgh Film Festival, funded by The Scottish Government

The third and last album Johnny will write on his trusty PS2 and copy of Jester Interactive's MUSIC 3000. "Inadequate Radical" was released in 3 parts and gradually and subtly told the tale of Johnny Organ's origins. Part1 began with a grass roots return to dance music as a homage to his earlier works and influences. A reminder of the good times and friends. And slowly delves into murkier waters as the album progresses into part 2.

SiNKiNG CiTiES
Johnny's current and bestest band ever
SiNKiNG CiTiES first album DROWNOUTtheWORLD has been receiving critical praise, including being called "a self assured debut" by Rick Fulton of The Daily Record, Scotland.
A rebelious and pragmatic album with strong themes of chosen isolation and over-analysis of life choices, mostly to the anger and disillusion of everyone around the protagonist of each song. It also displays a sense of humour with tongue-in-cheek scenarios and social commentary.

SOLUTION
An extended biography by Johnny Organ
Johnny teamed up with Robert Millar in their early teens, meeting at a local music workshop. They began to produce acoustic and keyboard-based 4 track recordings. Soon Robert's cousin Billy joined to play bass and Mat Cook became their drummer. "The Solution" were formed and they played a tiny amount of public dates, mostly in community centres. Billy and Mat fell away from the boys and so they pulled in one of the tutors of the music club to play drums for a while. Joe Mullen. He recommended bass player Joe Quail (who Johnny attended youth theatre with) and by 1997, Gary Salmon (a childhood friend of Rab's and schoolmate of Johnny) was drafted in as a second lead guitarist.
Over seven years "Solution" produced more than 4 albums worth of material and were lauded for their energetic live performances. Studio albums "Distorted Truth" and "Progress/Regress" were produced by Stuart Macleod at The Petersburn Centre, Airdrie . They gained a little popularity after a few battle of the band competitions (winners of The Rock Garden's Battle Of The Bands and runners up at The North Lanarkshire Battle Of The Bands), a few good reviews, a few TV appearances and a couple of radio interviews. But the elusive record deal never looked like coming to fruition.
Johnny became disgruntled. He didn't like the lack of promotion or sales for their second album "Progress/Regress" or what lay ahead for the third album. The band's music began moving away from their (initially praised) energetic rock tones and more towards slower, indie style music. The band were also beginning to struggle to expand their gig dates beyond Glasgow. This, inevitibly, strained the relationships of the band members and Johnny began feeling outcast. He felt that, because he seemed to be pulling in a different direction, he wasn't being involved with the major decisions anymore. These decisions included which tracks would make the albums, when was best to start recording the new album and on which days the band rehearsed.
In December 2003, Solution had a crisis meeting at Gary's house at which Johnny said he was contemplating leaving Solution unless things dramatically improved over the coming months.
Solution played their last gig in Barlfly, Glasgow that summer. It was clear to everyone in the venue that night that relationships between some of the band members had strained beyond being fully repairable.
In 2004, just days before Solution were about to go back into the studio to record their third studio album, Johnny wrote a letter addressed to all the band saying that he had left.
REFORM...?
There was talk and a last ditch attempt by Gary to reform the band to do one last gig, most of us not wanting our lasting memory to be that Barfly gig. After a few lengthy phonecalls, Joe Quail decided against it and that gig never did happen.
These days Rab Millar and Joe Mullen currently play in cover band FLUKE along with Rab's dad, Robert Snr. Gary Salmon teaches music and guitar to kids all around Glasgow at the same music workshops that Solution were founded in and is dabbling in music management. If Joe Quail is still in music, I'm not entirely sure. I've not heard any news about him on that front.
He, along with the rest of us though, created a pretty sweet back catalogue of music. I hope you enjoy.

ANALOGIC
A biography by Johnny Organ
I see Analogic as SiNKiNG CiTiES mark 1. About a year after I had left Solution, I was ready to get back into music. I was just finishing off "Cause N FX". I teamed up once again with Solution guitarist Gary Salmon. There was a couple of songs we never really got round to recording when we were with Solution. We enlisted the help of old friend Franko Casey for bass and new blood Joe Scott for keyboards/guitars. Myself and Joe met quite randomly through a mutual friend, Tam McConnell, at a local pub and we instantly just clicked and wanted to do something together.
We didn't have a drummer, so we got Gary's uncle Davie, who had been in bands and music for years and did a great job considering...
We recorded the three tracks at Beatroute Studios. I have to say we were not properly prepared. We really winged it. We weren't even sure what songs we were doing and what instruments we were using. I don't know how we managed to get three tracks out of it.
Shortly after recording the tracks and enlisting the help of Gav Crawford on drums, Gary decided to call it a day with music and focus on the day jobs. Then Gav left shortly afterwards, he hadn't fully rehabilitated a broken foot.

THEE JAFEEFFLUMS
A biography by Johnny Organ
The Jafeefflums were myself, comedian Iain Connell and Iain Boyce aka Jam Jar Jimmy. We were all working on a pantomime for Toonspeak Young People's Theatre entitled "Aladin meets Robin Hood". It wasn't your run of the mill pantomime, it was far more inspired by Monty Python and Spike Milligan. I was about 14 at the time.
The idea came along when we got discussing the interval music and we decided to make our own. Myself and Iain Connell went away and wrote some silly songs and Iain Boyce done the music that was playing in our heads. Concieved, written and recorded on an analogue 4 track recorder over the course of two or three days, it still makes me laugh.
Iain Connell is forever funny and always an inspiration. He is now writing and starring in his own BBC comedy sketch show Burnistoun along with another one of the funniest men on the planet, Rab Florence of Consolevania. I trust you will seek it out.
Jam Jar Jimmy has his own myspace here . We just recently re-collaborated for "Presumed Dead Hero". A great guy. He's away back to uni at the moment.
