I will spill my guts in detail here eventually, just testing the waters now.
In a nutshell I'm a divorced father of one perfect Daughter that I named Cheyenne after she entered my life in 1996. My Mother Carol is still happy and reasonably healthy thankfully, My Father Charles Sr. passed away in 1996. I have two Brothers Charles of Avondale, AZ. and David who lived in Saint Joseph, MO. most of his life before passing away 2-8-2008. I have several Nephews & Nieces and some of them have children of their own. I'm very glad that I waited to become a Father, it was not an accident nor was it easy to do so.
My life did not go as I had planned and now I'm disabled & in a wheelchair, likely for the rest of my days due to a really bad day in 2000. I was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle through Prescott, AZ. I lost my left arm & leg and about 70% of the use of my right leg along with the vision in my left eye. To this day I have never heard a word from the woman (an illegal immigrant)that did this to me.
Before that day I held numerous jobs throughout my career but spent most of my time in the motorcycle industry that I enjoyed so much. Much of my life was spent working on motorcycles when I wasn't riding one, I worked at various shops near my home town and in the Phoenix area, I also worked as an instructor for MMI in Phoenix for a short time near the end teaching the subject to students wanting to break into the industry.
I grew up on 2 wheels and owned many different varieties of motorcycles and a few ATV's & Watercraft over the years, losing the ability to ride was worse than death to me, hard to explain if you don't already understand but I loved the ability to get away from everyone with a twist of the wrist.
Theses days I ride on the four wheels of Yamaha Rhino modified as best as possible to accommodate my physical limitations, trying to keep my mind entertained. It's not 2 wheels but it is great to still have the ability to get out there in the woods where it all began, I cherish every mile. I picked it up in 2005 after suffering for 5 long years. I went as far as buying a great BMW convertible to try and satisfy my craving for brutal acceleration with the wind in my hair but it just did not do the trick, the Rhino is as close as I'm ever going to get so I have been adding every high performance upgrade I can afford and using everything I have learned to get it performing up to a standard I can really enjoy.
