| View Show | Create Your OwnWell its summer now and we're in the middle of some sort of harvest. This year has been so strange when it comes to weather. I guess I only notice because I have spent every single day outside since June 1st of 06. I'm sitting here in west Gaines County and thinking. Thinking about how its a shame we didn't have papas to dig in Cruces, where they happened to shoot the new Indiana Jones movie (at least for 1 week.) Thinking that maybe its time for me to finally take a stab at some schooling. Wishing they had a Bennigan's in Lubbock. I also wish they had a zoo there. Hmm. Do you ever think back on an opportunity you once had but didn't take? Do you wonder if that would have shaped you differently? I'm thinking about the friends that I made last year. Why is it that they're so great, but they're hundreds of miles away? The best thing about life here is my best friend is around every single day. Around the house, around the yard, around the farm. I'm thinking about the future. There is so much to look forward to. We just received the first of the bamboo forest we'll hide in some day. I can't wait 'til my birds are fully grown and can punk the cats and dogs. And any strangers who come by. My Interests

Well I'm interested in lots of things but that doesn't mean I have the time to do them. I love photography, especially black and white, and art in general. I also love to eat! Going out to dinner is awesome. Maybe I appreciate it so because I don't go out that often. I am so lucky because my boyfriend is a fantastic cook. He'd rather stay home and cook than go out. I love music like everybody else. It has such power! Maybe I'll learn that this year too. I guess I have a thing for animals (as if you couldn't tell). We have horses, dogs, cats, fish, turtles and a growing flock of birds. I also love to shop and I love tattoos. There are so many other things I would love to dabble in; motorcycles, piano, languages, boxing, gardening. I'll get around to it all eventually.

Music:

I listen mostly to country music. I really enjoy the old stuff, but there's some pretty good new guys out there too. Merle Haggard, George Strait, Josh Turner, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, The Judds, The Four Seasons, Elvis, Dolly Parton, Robert Earl Keen, Shakira, Beastie Boys, SOD, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Green Day, Cake, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Santana

Movies:

I love westerns but I'll watch just about anything. I would really rather not watch any space movies or TV shows (aka Star Shit) however, Nate seems to really get a kick out of em so once in awhile I have to. Some of my favorite movies are Master and Commander; Lonesome Dove; Double Jeopardy; How to Lose a Guy in 10 days; Foul Play; 9 to 5; Big Jake; McLintock!; Hatari; Gladiator; Spencer's Mountain and so on.

Television:

I wish I could say I don't watch TV but its so addicting. I am so much more productive when the dish isn't hooked up. So when I'm under the power of the tv, I usually watch decorating, landscaping and property shows. I like Dirty Jobs, American Chopper, Deadliest Catch, 24, The Girls Next Door and any show with Bobby Flay on it. Our new thing is 'The Office.' I've come to the conclusion that we (by we I mean Me and Nathan and Lance) love it because it is so foreign to us.
