I started of as the drummer of the thrash band Nocturnal Death here in Belguim. After some problems within the band we decided to put the band in the Fridge. It didn't take long before I joined forces with the experimantal rockband Called So Much For Plan Z. We did some gig's and recorded a Cdemo but as al garageband our professional life made the band to split up. Later our the former bassplayer of plan Z was contacted by Zwarte Dood of Wanhoop ( dutch for Despair)and they were looking for a drummer and bassplayer. So you get the picture: Mike and I joined forces with wanhoop as sessions. It seemed that Zwarte Dood and Mike were Highschool friends and founding fathers of War Ensemble . The spirit of War Ensemble got new life and we found a great guitarplayer to join us. At this moment War Ensemble is put on hold because Mike, Zwarte Dood and I have other bands that come first. After a very drunk night I regain contact with Jona, who was founding member of Nocturnal Death. He, Fré and Stijn were jamming along but didn't find a drummer our singer. Drunk as hell and happy to see my old pall again I decide to give that band a shot. and all went well. Few weeks later David ( former exit 19 frontman) joined forces and we started the band SARIN. The week after our first gig we got contacted by a recordlabel who had very much intrest in our songs. In the beginning of the fall we released our first EP called " Dead for an eternity" and we did some gigs with international bands like God Dethroned (NL), Jesus Martyr (ARG) and Sacred Oath (USA). On one of the gigs I met Kevin and Daisy and became friends of mine. They planned to start a metalcore band called Shades of anger, and they were looking for a sessiondrummer to join them. since 25/2/2008 I'm the Drummer of Sarin and Shades of anger. The Grain is another project of mine togheter with Mike & Zwarte dood ( both formal Wanhoop menbers) Willy and Han of Nagrach and Tom. In this band no drums for me just clean vocals. Hopefully I can put some music of my other bands online soon.
