I was born on the day of the silver moon in the month of iron war! My name is Joel Lindell and below is a portion of me and the various musical constellations I’m currently in;

LAETHORA: A pure Death Metal merger between Dark Tranquillitys' Niklas Sundin and The Provenance members (Joakim, Jonnie and myself) extant since 2005. Released our first full-length album "March of the Parasite" in 2007 and are currently working on a diabolical follow-up album entitled "The Light in which we all Burn" (release spring/summer 2009).
THE PROVENANCE: Progressive Goth-act extant between -95 and -08 with a dark and depressive discography containing four tremendously strong and emotional full-length albums, if I may say so myself.
NUDE FOX ENSEMBLE: The utmost experimental 70's-inspired progressive act featuring Daniel "Eel" Brandt (Maison Blanche, Douglas Heart) and Per "The Bear" Larsson (Maison Blanche, Ronderlin) in some amazingly inspired work.
DOWNWARDS: A dark down-tempo project formed together with Joakim Rosén back in the year of 1998.
MAT I SKÄGGET: Improvisational Progg-act still under development.
ASFALT: Devoted Punk act existing between 1993 and 1995. This was my first real band.

Personal Beliefs
I am a dedicated socialist as it is the one and only ideology that doesn’t include pissing on other people for mere self-satisfactory “needs”.
If you are prepared to accept the ongoing abuse, slaughter and murder of innocent people in the name of simple revolting greed by supporting and promoting a capitalist system, in my eyes you are worth absolutely nothing; you’re worth shit!
If you’re willing to acknowledge a capitalist structure and be a partisan of social imbalance firmly rooted in the exploitation of other human beings, if you’re eager to defend and succumb to the lies, the corruption and ultimately the treachery of your fellow man; I will do anything in my power to either make you welcome the opposite or permanently stop you from breathing for then you truly are the sick and wretched parasite fuck I so utterly despise, loathe and hate.
All are equal, parasites excluded!
Thoughts on Life
Metaphorically speaking, the world is ultimately to be regarded as black and white. In my eyes, if you are willing to invite and welcome the blackness of the world, then subsequently you embody the white. If you allow yourself to disregard the black and solely focus on the white you are certain to become part of the despicable black.
Mundane
On another note, I'm currently involved in several different projects within the framework of linguistics. On the one hand I'm working with vocal comparison processes for the criminal department together with Jonas Lindh in a company called Voxalys and on the other I'm working as a research assistant in a word stress study under the supervision of Anders Eriksson at the Gothenburg linguistics department. I'm also employed at Sahlgrenska University Hospital as recording technician for the logopedic department.
