I am a registered nurse and I am currently working in Med/Surg.
I am a die hard heavy metal fan.
The bigger the hair the better.
My husband and I don't have any kids yet but we have three wonderful dogs and one crazy cat.
Also, I am totally stuck in the 80's!!!
The entire decade was just sooooo great! I loved the hair, the music, the clothing, the excess, and just everything about the decade.

During the later part of the decade, I became a kick ass rockin' teenager and Heavy Metal (Hair metal) ruled the world!

Some of my favorite things:
Nice people, good music, karaoke, hangin' with my friends, animals, suspence novels, thriller and horror movies and drivin' around in my PT Cruiser (crankin' Heavy Metal of course). My favorite color is PINK!!!!! My favorite tv shows to watch are: Little House on the Prairie, Medium, Law and Order, Notorious, Cold Case Files, and The Waltons.
A few more not-so-interesting facts about me...
Since I only work two nights a week, I have a ton of free time. How do I spend my time? Well, I pretty much do as little as possible.
It is sorta like I just bum around all week long. I watch a lot of tv and movies. I go to the gym in the middle of the night with my husband. Sometimes I hang out with my friends and family but mostly I spend my time at home snuggled up with my super sweet dogs. They love tv time b/c it means we all get to cuddle on the recliner.
Something else that is really weird about me is that I have so many reasons to be happy and to enjoy living my life to the fullest. However, I don't. I spend most of my time alone thinking about younger and happier days. I long for those lazy care-free days of my youth. I remember thinking that life just sucked so bad back then. At times it did. But, atleast life was a whole lot simpler. I had my true support system: My mom, grandma, and MOTLEY CRUE. All I really have left of those simple times is Motley Crue. I guess that is why I am still such a die-hard fan. They have been a part of me since the fourth grade. Their music has gotten me through the best and worst of times. Now I am all grown up. I am a professional now, making pretty good money, have a great husband, wonderful pets, great friends....still, something is missing. A child. The pain of not being able to have a child is one of the worst pains I have ever felt. The pain and longing for a child has the ability to send me into a deep downward spiral of some of the darkest depression I have ever known.

One of my favorite ways to cheer myself up is to TRAVEL! I think it is one of the greatest ways to forget your worries. You can literally, "leave your worries behind!" My husband was not born a travelin' man so, I usually travel with one of my friends. Here are some of my favorite pix from my trip to New Orleans. I went there in March of 2005 with my friend, Sherri. I was drunk every single day I was there. Love those frozen Hurricanes! Laisses Les Bon Temps Rouler! (Let the good times roll!)

I am married to the GREATEST guy ever! His name is Chuck. We met when I was 16 years old. We've been together for almost 14 years now.
He is absolutely the best friend I have ever had. He is always there for me when I need him. He is the one and only person I can truly count on. He is so kind and gentle. I don't know how I got so lucky to get him but I do know I never want to live my life without him.
