Rock Waco was created for one simple reason: To help promote the local rock music scene in Waco, Texas! I am not a promoter or anything like that; I am merely a supporter of the Waco music scene and our area talent. So I decided to create a web page to help all our area rock bands promote their bands & their music!
The talent pool in the Waco area is really amazing. Yeah, even amazing compared to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, etc! Waco is home to many very talented bands that range all across the rock spectrum! If you like any type of "rock".........you can find it in Waco!
The originality in these bands is nothing short of spectacular too! Maybe it's because Waco is not as saturated as the "big cities" or maybe there's something in the Waco water! ;) At any rate, there are a lot of awesome bands in this town!
If you are in a band in the Waco area and want to be included it's easy! Just add Rock Waco as a friend. If you would like your schedule to be posted on this page all you gotta do is send it to Rock Waco!
With this page, I am hoping to help promote the music scene in Waco by giving everyone one place to come to see all the local rock bands in Waco, their schedules, what the latest news is for all the bands, etc. I am also hoping to give the local bands a common place to showcase their music and videos and give them a place where they can network with each other!

102.5-The Bear in Waco hosts a " Local Licks" show every week night at 11:00 PM. This Local Licks program is for YOUR Music! Two local bands are played each night , Mondays-Thursday nights and then on Friday nights the top 2 requested bands get their song played again!
It's a very cool way to get your songs some radio play!
