I LOVE music! I like going to different places. I go to the movies, bowling, traveling, dancing. Just about anything is cool. As long I am having a good time and have a good friend to share it with, it's all good. I love reading, writing poetry (I try at least) and just chillin watching the sunset on the patio or web surfing. You can catch me at any mall! (Northpark, Town East, The Parks). I love PF Changs, Olive Garden, Pappadeaux's, and Mi Cocinas. When I got out -- The M Bar, Carson's, Opus Lounge, or now Brooklyn's. I have found a new love for bowling...still not good at it, but getting better. I'm always looking for new things to do, if you have suggestions, pass them over here!

Like I said...I LOVE music. I like a lot of hip hop, R&B, and NeoSoul. I like the mainstream things and I like listening to people others don't really listen to or haven't been discovered yet. Right now I'm feeling Danity Kane and Day 26 (of course...you fall in love with all of them if you watch Making the Band 4). I also like Chrisette Michelle, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Lil Wayne, Tamia, Mary J, anything with T. Pain it seems, Maroon 5, Fergie, Justin T., Mariah, Ledisi, Musiq, Beyonce (at times), Jay-z, anything from the south pretty much, and jazz --Boney James...lots more...my Ipod stays full! I think if I could choose another career, I would be an A&R person at a record company. Movies:
I like different movies. I like mostly comedies, chick flicks, and black movies. Don't laugh, but I like Harry Potter movies. Favorites include: Clue (go find it), Best Man, Love and Basketball, Brown Sugar, Why Did I Get Married, Beautyshop (watch them all the time), Disturbia, the Ocean's movies, Mission Impossible movies, Hairspray (old and new), and don't laugh..Karate Kid...you know you use to like those movies!As for TV: I love Girlfriends (although it just got cancelled I think) I love reruns (Cosby, Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Sister Sister, One on One, Half and Half, and Golden Girls [hey they are funny!]) I also like Law and Order: SVU, Run's House, Wild 'n' Out, America's Next Top Model ( I know), The Tyra Banks Show (don't hate me), and even American Idol (LOL...I know, I know...it's addictive!) Most TV is reality TV now, so you can't help it. So I mostly watch a lot of movies.
Television:
I love reading mostly black authors. Books that I can relate to. Nothing with Fabio or anything like that. My favorite book cover to cover is Diva's Inc by Donna Hill and Shame on It All by Zane. Zane has some wild books...girls and guys would like. I also like ready poetry books, cause I like to write. I actually would like to write a book, but so much is still happening, that I'll never finish!
Books:
I have soooo many crazy, annoying, bitchy, but great friends!Casa.. -- my "sister from another mother" friend! LOL! She's cool, grounded and fun. Always there to hear me vent and give advice.Myranda -- my "sister of another color" friend! LOL! We have our days and hate at times, but always come back to being friends. We've been thru everything and back!Vero! -- my "sweetest/now married" friend! Awwww...I'm so happy for her! She's just the bestest listener! And a true lady.Jennifer -- my "bitchy/crazy fun" friend! You may wanna smack her at times, but you can't help but love her! We love to complain to each other about everything! JNN---Jen News Network know it all! I miss you homie!Amy -- my "work/funny/sweet" friend! Everyone loves Amy! She's always working so hard but know how to have a great time! We need to hang out more! Heroes:
I'd like to meet people I can relate too and have fun with. I don't discriminate, but I can be easily annoyed, until I get to know you better. I know everyone has different personalities and that's what makes everyone special. I like open-minded people with intelligence and great character.As far as relationships? I'm single, not really looking hard, but keeping my eye open. I haven't had the best luck lately. I wanna meet someone that knows how to be friends first. Dudes wanna jump in the bed too quick and that's why relationships don't last long now days. I think you should be friends first and build on it. I have met different guys and have taken something away from each one to help me in my journey to find Mr. Right. I like all backgrounds and I'm open minded, so if you are interested, don't be afraid to send a note! Just don't be psycho! I will have to admit, I'm independent (able to take care of myself), but I want to be pampered every now and then! I'm a bit old school. I think a guy should ask the girl out, open doors, pay. However, I don't mind paying every now and then and I'm not big on cooking (new school!) I would like to meet someone I can learn from, grow with, and be inspired by. A reason to wake up and be overjoyed even more than I already am. And I'd like to bring that same joy to someone I meet.HONESTY! --Very important! If you don't have a job, a car, a house, or money...just say so. If you have kids, a girlfriend, a record...just say so. If you a playa and just wanna have sex and have no real interest in the person...just say so. You might not get the response you want, but it will save you from the drama later.Women...demand your respect. Guys know we don't want to be alone and are vulnerable at times, but that doesn't mean we deserve to be mistreated. And be a lady!
