About Me

Damien Orion Azrael entered the world of music around the age of 10 when he began listening to bands like Guns N' Roses, Marilyn Manson, Motley Crue, Morbid Angel, Slayer, and Skid Row. When he turned 11 his mother asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he pointed at a picture of Twiggy Ramirez and said "I wanna play what he plays". So in early '95 Damien got his first bass and quickly began learning everything he could about the instrument. Even though Damien enjoyed playing bass he felt the monster within pulling him towards the guitar, so he began learing how to play guitar as well. By the age of 13, Damien used his ability to play both guitar and bass to get him into many different local bands. As the years progressed he played everywhere he could in South Florida, even opening for national acts such as Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Blue Oyster Cult, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Kittie, and The Young Dubliners.

The songs "Losing You", and "Voices In The Rain" are from my old band MONTAG, the song "Think Again" is from Scattered Light, and the song "My Life" is from my old band KEEP.The song "The Art Of Suicide" was recorded during my time with HFL.

On the MONTAG and HFL songs I play all the guitar bass, on the Scattered Light and KEEP song I'm playing bass.

Sounds Like: I've heard a lot of comparisons...Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, and the list goes on.

Mushroomhead Tour, New HFL Music, and a few other things...
