For the last five years, El Pollo Diablo (or EPD as they are known to their fans) has been rocking crowds of all kinds! From local talent shows to the Vans Warped Tour, EPD has shown progression like no other in an everchanging music scene.
In the winter of 2001, high school freshmen Kelly McDowell, Roger Fingar, and Nick Ferrington gathered in a garage in their hometown of Whitefish, Montana for a jam session. After a year of repeated practices, the band began booking and promoting their own gigs anywhere they could. Between bars and house parties, EPD slowly began to catch the attention of the local scene.
For the next couple years, the band played numerous shows around their hometown. In the spring of 2004, they entered the studio to record their first album,"Fresh Out Of The Oven". It was only weeks after the album was released that it sold out of it's first pressing. The year of 2004 would only get better for the band when they recieved the opportunity to perform at that summer's Vans Warped Tour. Incorporating a tour of Montana with the Warped Tour spot, El Pollo Diablo soon gained fans all over the Treasure State.
In 2005, EPD once again entered the studio to record their follow-up EP,"630 East Broadway". Upon completion of the album, EPD was asked to perform again at the Vans Warped Tour. Once again, the band incorporated a full tour out of their opportunity. Along with two dates at Warped, the band went on a semi-national tour, expanding the name El Pollo Diablo into the Northwestern United States.
EPD is currently writing new material for their 2nd full-length album, which will be followed with a US tour.
