Ghetto Gospel's a MOVEMENT God's will will be done

About Me

In a day where materialism and trends dominate the game, arrives King David who is here to return substance to the game. David's style of music can be described as reality rap because of its true life experiences. The stage name, was an idea given to him by a close friend who knowing him and reading about the real one thought they were a lot similar. She even went as far to say that he appeared to be a descendant of him due to their similarities in character. The name was finally adopted from the character in the bible because he found it to be a perfect fit to represent his new life.Raised by a single mother of 2, David was raised also by his brother. His mother was a hotel laundry clerk and spent many hours working away from home earning minimum wages and living off one credit card. He grew up and viewed his older brother as a father figure. His brother began in the rap game early in life, David wanted to follow in his footsteps. His talent has been seen all across Ohio. A native of the Queen City, Cincinnati, Ohio he has been a king ever since the age of 5. He began writing and performing at the age of 5 and grew up being known neighborhood wide as a talented rapper performing at parks, parties, talent show high school football games, and wherever else his brother took him. From this experience it made him mature very fast, as his brother was 9 years older than him. David was far more mature than most his age. The rap game has become a must for him. Not too long after his first song debuted on Cincinnati Radio, he nearly lost his life. Thirty minutes after falling asleep, he woke up with a bullet in his leg. This was a reality check for him. This incident showed him that radio was not all for him, and he had a bigger calling for him, something better. He had a lot more work to do to get him to the where he wanted to be. Most importantly he could not waste another day as this experience made him realize that life could end instantly at any point and time. From that point, he moved to Atlanta to accelerate his rap career. His music is derived from his Cincinnati upbringing and experiences. But his style is too versatile and can’t be regionalized. He has flows that can fit south, east, midwest and west coast tracks. He is a very clever and crafty rapper with a plethora of styles as he never spits the same way twice. David develops his flows based to each track on a song by song basis letting the instruments be the “gps” system telling him where he would end up. Listening to his music will make you feel as if you have shared all of the pain and happiness with him. He truly raps from his heart pulling all subject matter from his own experiences. David will bring to the game his original sounds and thoughts. He plans to build a bridge, providing model citizens with a better understanding of your local thug, showing them that there is more to them than a rap sheet. And also provide “thugs” a blue print of overcoming the obstacles blocking them from them being “model” citizens with the same amount of money. He plans to do this by giving a first person perspective of his own escape sharing his experiences and also allowing a close look at his other thoughts to show there is more to him than meets the eye. Moreso the edge in his music will prove that there's nothing uncool about a relationship with God.King David would be an asset to any record company because he is a talented writer for his own cause and others. He prides himself on being able to step outside of himself and write for others, saying “I’m just a fan of music!”
