I enjoy listening to music (nearly all the time); reading great stories whether a novel, poem, screenplay, etc.; watching movies (thrillers and suspense are the best but I also like off-the-wall comedies like Dumb & Dumber, Office Space, and Beavis & Butthead Do America, not crap like American Pie); playing the drums and guitar (electric and acoustic) and singing; writing (I love songwriting, scriptwriting, poetry, and the short story); and any other sort of creative and inspirational media. I love the color (or shade) black and its complement on all the other colors of the spectrum. Vampires are cool. Mythology is interesting, as well as history. And I also enjoy intelligent conversation about almost anything, just as long as the conversation is truly intelligent. I play Gameboy, study a lot, and still enjoy Legos. Batman is awesome.

The only television shows that I really keep up with now are South Park, Smallville, and Supernatural. If you haven't seen Supernatural yet, check it out. It's a great show. But I also like to watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report when they have new episodes.
My favorite authors are Dean R. Koontz, Edgar Allen Poe, and Stephen King. Books that I'd recommend by each of these authors: Dean Koontz: Voice of the Night; Life Expectancy; Strange Highways; The Door to December; Intensity; The Funhouse; One Door Away From Heaven; Odd Thomas; Winter Moon; False Memory; Tick Tock; Sole Survivor; From the Corner of His Eye; and pretty much everything else he's written...except By the Light of the Moon. I really didn't like that one too much. Edgar Allen Poe: The Masque of the Red Death; Ligeia; Silence - A Fable; Hop-Frog; The Cask of Amontillado; The Sphinx; The Fall of the House of Usher; The Murders in the Rue Morgue; A Decent into the Maelstrom; Life in Death (The Oval Portrait); The Pit and the Pendulum; The Mystery of Marie Roget; The Tell-Tale Heart; The Gold Bug; The Black Cat; The Purloined Letter; The Premature Burial; Loss of Breath; Shadow - A Parable; Morella; A Predicament; etc. Stephen King: Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption; The Green Mile; Apt Pupil; It; The Body; The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon; Dreamcatcher; Riding the Bullet; The Man in the Black Suit; Autopsy Room Four; Salem's Lot; On Writing; etc. I also like some stuff from Frank Peretti, especially The Oath and The Visitation. I love Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson, The Far Side by Gary Larson, and Garfield by Jim Davis. Batman is my all-time favorite comic book character ever! Anything with him in it is pretty cool. There's a whole lot more but I don't really feel like listing them all.
