About Me

Well, we bought a house in Morgantown. Lars likes his job and is very busy. I don't mind it for a few more years. Now that we have decided to stay here for a while I am enjoying reading about Morgantown history and travelling around West Virginia. One of my favorite places is Pipestem resort in southern WV. I don't know why I love it so much, good memories I guess. There's a lot to see and we intend to see as much of it as we can while we're here.

I like lots of music. My different tastes dominate at different times. I always like Elvis.

Movies:

I like scary movies, romantic comedies & regular comedies, British films (I guess its the accents), and oh yeah, classic cinema. I love movies from the 30s, 40s, & 50s. They had to rely on acting and dialogue.

Some movies that I will stop what I'm doing and watch anytime: Roadhouse, The Notebook, The Skeleton Key, Anne of Green Gables, The Princess Bride, any Die Hard movie, The Goonies, any movie that has Jonathan Rhys Meyers in it, Real Genius, and Old School - to name a few.

Saw it 7 times in the movie theatre...

Television:

Right now I'm into Bones and Mad Men. I also currently enjoy reruns of The Office and I Love Lucy. Oh yeah, I also love The Soup.

Books:

I love books! I collect books. I can collect much faster than I can read. I cannot resist a book. Perhaps if I possess the book, I possess the knowledge contained therein. Or maybe I just like to read. I have a giant box of books that I am slowly making my way through. Some of my favorites are Blubber, Sideways Stories from Wayside School, A Girl Named Zippy, The Ruins, I Am Legend, The Thirteenth Tale, The Labyrinth, and the Bible.
