About Me

Layout made by .linkback_topleft { position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; } .r{}Well I just moved back home to B'ham this last October and I am loving being home. I lived in Las Vegas for 2 1/2 years to be closer to my grandmother and older sister. However the mortgage company I worked for took a nose dive and closed their doors on Valentines day. It took me 9 months to finally land a job back home. So Mom and I packed up the animals and off we went. My mom lives with me due to being disabled. The nerves in her back are pinched and her back is deteriorating. She's on SSI which doesn't allow her the financial freedom to live on her own. That is why I moved her in with me. I can honestly say I enjoy every moment with her. Especially, since I almost lost her April 2005 from a massive heart attack. I am truly thankful that I could be there for her and still am. I am very proud of my heritage I'm a mixed Celt mutt(Scottish, Irish, English and Welsh) and also Norwegian. I lean more toward my Scottish heritage than anything though. Due to the fact I am mostly Scottish. My dream is to one day visit the isles. I enjoy dancing, travel, camping, wines, music, movies, writing and drawing. I also am very spiritual NOT religious. I don't believe I have to go to church and believe in ONE religion. I can go outside and see God everywhere. Just by looking at the sun, moon, mountains, wildlife, trees, wind, rain etc. I believe as long as you have a relationship with your God that is all that matters. It's a very personal relationship. I don't believe God loves you any less if you don't belong too any one religion. I am so tired of seeing people die in the name of religion! For we are all children of one supreme being. Ok that's it for my lecture. I’m just very empathetic. I don't like seeing injustices and hatred. Nor injustices against our environment, wildlife, sea life, animals and innocent children! What can I say...I'm a Libra! Peace and balance is my Mantra. I also love learning about different cultures. I love the Native American culture and their philosophy and wisdom of life. I enjoy going to Native American POW wows and of course the Highland games (love a man in a Kilt). I'm also the youngest of 5 brothers and sisters. I'm an aunt to 11 nieces and nephews and I just became a great auntie October 2005. I'm also a proud godmother to 3 beautiful girls Amanda Rose, Hayley Jo and Hope Elizabeth. They bring such Love and Joy to my life. I love them as big as the universe! In the past 7 years I have struggled with Endometriosis. I was 1st diagnosed in 2000. I have undergone 4 operations with the last operation January 2006. I have just finished an extensive round of treatment for the last year called Lupron. The lupron treatment put me into menopause! Let me tell ya the hot flashes and night sweats were hell! I have always planned on adopting however I want the chance to carry a child also. Hopefully one day I will have that chance. Because I REFUSE to allow the Endo to take that away from me! I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy. Not that I have any... If you’re reading this and you have endo or you know someone that has it. Please know I am an email away and I will be more than happy to talk with you and support you. At times you can feel very alone but there are a lot of us out there that understand and will be there for you. In any case thank you for checking my site out. Love and blessings to you all!
