Now I realize that falling down ain't graceful, but I thank the Lord that falling's full of grace...

About Me

I'm a wife and mom of two great children--a boy and a girl--and I work for a university. I'm a Christian (currently Methodist, but with Baptist roots), who believes passionately that the Church ought to be a place that heals its wounded rather than eating them. At my local church, I've volunteered in the Crossing over Jordan ministry (a restoration ministry for women), and I'm currently involved in Celebrate Recovery, a 12-Steps program for people with any type of hurts, habits, or hang-ups.

That's just wrong, y'know? Gimme impermanent body art, like henna or something, that washes off in a week. That's more my speed. :-D
