Bruce Carder

About Me

Bruce Carder started his musical journey at the age of four years old. His first performance was on his grandfather’s CB radio, performing Elvis’ "You Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog." A few years later, his life was changed after seeing Kiss for the first time on TV. Armed with a tennis racket and a few bottles of ketchup, he performed a sold-out show to his Star Wars figures right there in his bedroom.Fast forward to age 19, Bruce finally picked up a real guitar for the first time after hearing Joe Satriani’s "Always With You, Always With Me." Over the next several years, he spent countless hours practicing and woodshedding to hone his craft. After being in and out of several bands over the years, including Just People, 39 Huge, and a small stint in the disco band Boogie Freaks, Bruce finally found his musical home playing in his church.Bruce now fulfills lead guitar duties in The Access 218 Band, Always Autumn, and also fronts The Bruce Carder Band. And for those of you that don’t speak fluent sarcasm, yes, this bio was written tongue-in-cheek............sort of.........
