About Me

I started out life in Gibralter, beoming the youngest envoy of the British empire. I finally woke up to myself at age 14 and joined a pack of 'wild dogs', and together we tore through western Europe, playing on the rising paranioa about the threat of the 'Yellow Peril'. We travelled light through heavy weather and eventually I fell and landed at a funny angle, at odds with my environment. I found myself out of sync with the popular culture and prevailing mindset. I had short hair in the summer of love. I got caught trying to rebuild the Berlin wall and got sentence to a decade of mediocrity, where I had to work as PA to Amanda Holden. My role models were Andy Peters and Philip Scofield. I got stuck in a lift for 6 weeks with Andi Mcdowal and Colin Firth. I got propelled forward by a stream of consciousness and surfed the open mike scene.I started playing at different acoustic nights, ie Big Note at the hope and Anchor, the Red Rooms in Picadilly, Chat's Palace etc. I played at a festival in Cornwall last year where I played to 2000 people and really went down well. I have been getting to grips with recording an album for the past 6 months. I tend to dry up when I go into recording studios which I find really nerve racking. So to combat that I have set up a studio at my home, which is really basic, but it means I dont dry up. It seemed to take forever to get my head around operating the recording package I used (Ableton Live 5.2). I seem to be gitting the hang of it now and a sample of the album, "20,000 leagues beneath the cranium"is available to listen to. I will be playing live again which I'm really looking forward to, from February. check my site for details.
