For more indepth biographies read the blogs.Formed in 2001 for an end of school gig, Rawcus played dad-rock at a few gigs in the surrounding area of Rotherham until university beckoned for the members in September 2003. Following a couple of shandys during Easter 2006 it was decided that the band should reform with a new set list and sound. We've done plenty of gigs now, establishing ourselves with our loud and sweaty live performances. We finished as Runners-Up in SNAFU's Battle of the Bands in November '06 and are also entering this years SNAFU BOTB and a BOTB at Sheffield's Under The Boardwalk with nothing less than winning on our minds.

30th June 2008:

We didn't win either of those, but we did finish as runners-up in SNAFU's BOTB in Nov '07. Kendall "looked after" the prize money. We also did a gig at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, but it was mediocre. Then Kendall dissapperared off with Yoko-Ono reincarnated and Owen fizzled away into obscurity.

So The Rawcus are now apparently a one-man-band.
