Here's the quick and dirty: teacher, freelance writer, aspiring screenwriter, wife, mom, fan and promoter of Asian-American film. I do want to achieve in my career, but I truly believe that being a decent, kind human being is the most important thing. So that's what I strive for. I have to give a shout out to my awesome Korean-born husband, family, friends, and God for their support and encouragement.

AND JUST IN CASE you were wondering, "hapa" is a Hawaiian word loosely translated to "half." It's become a designation for anyone of mixed Asian ancestry, and it's not a slur....it's an expression of pride. So, I'm a "Hapa's Mama" because my son is half Korean.
