**THE ICE BREAKER**
--------------------Hi.....I am an easy going person, with many interests.I could go on all day about things i like and dislike. But instead i have gone on about how my love of music started. As everybody relates to music........Peace out.
I was Born in Basildon, Essex in 1972, and i still currently live here. Being brought up in the 70's meant, 70's music, especially prog rock. Bands for example, Hawkwind, Uriah Heap, Black Sabbath, AC/DC,were frequantly played around the house while i was growing up. I didnt really establish what you say as a 'taste in a specific music genre' until i heard Electro in '84/85, then Hip Hop & House in '88/'89.
Even sounds from 'Back in the Day' still sound as good now to as it was then.Since then, music has influenced me quite a lot through my life, besides other things. I started buying vinyl roughly around 1988 and over the years have grown quite a good vinyl collection. It covers most of the music scene through the years to date, although i didnt buy my first set of decks until 1994/95, i learnt to mix pretty quickly.

What do i mix?

I mix most styles of music examples ranging from drum & bass, breaks, different types of house, a bit of hip hop, dub, techno, electronica...allmost anything. You can see on my music list on the left, what a vast taste in music i have. I think '2manydjs' aka 'soulwax', could sum that up in one mix.......

Where have i played?

I have DJ'd at many parties and for House of Usher @ The Glasshouse, Spirit Bar and internet radio.

What now?

I have not DJ'd as much as i would of liked over the last couple of years as of other commitments. But have still stayed in touch with what i do. I am on the lookout for any local club or bar who are looking for a DJ, i have various mixes available on mp3 or CD, if you require a demo.Add or contact me if you wish :)
