Hi,
New tracks online!!!: His face: a song inspired by the Natascha Kampusch story (it's the second song in the list)... Some may find relief in the words of the song... The first song is a remix I made from a track of zzzzra of the Schall-netlabel. It has been selected and is going to be released! I'm quite happy with this. The third one is the newest track.. all music and vocals by me.
BIO: I'm a hobbyist musicmaker for about 15 years and I appreciate you're dropping by. Not wanting to pinpoint myself onto one genre of music... I can't help making music in different genres: ranging from acoustic and ambient, neo-classical and soundtrack to electronica, remixing and recently heavy metal, I always search for the right atmosphere through a good choice of sounds.
May 18th I played live for an audience of 350 for the first time... it was exciting! I want more!
A happy song with my voice called "When you", was asked for an internet commercial . See my blog for more info. A couple of years ago another track was used for an environmental shortmovie.
I'm working on new material right now bu you're not gonna hear from it 'till september. I'm taking a long summer break.
I finished my remix of a track by Electrobellian Distreality - I gave the darkish track a more metal groove and added some elements to make it more crisp. It's the third song you can hear on my player ROCKING!
The last track in the playlist - after some other pieces of music - was made when my oldest boy was in hospital. Three years later we still have to face multiple stays at hospitals because he hasn't been cured. The song is called "Longing for home" and contains some Steve Vaiesque guitarsolo's.
I'm up to much more and about 80 songs can be eared on electrobel.be - Wear HEADPHONES!
Some of the users in my friend section are very talented but rather unknown musicians... Be sure to check out "Winter took his life" for acoustic heaven, "Thomas Azier" for jazzy/funky popsongs, "Aphone" for dub and "Bandarlog" and "Waxdolls" for cool danceable tracks.
I also like to take pictures... but don't call it photography.... look for Erik Devlies on www.flickr.com
The beautiful background on my profile here is a picture made by Vinnie Prime (member on flickr.com). Thanks Vinnie!
