My father, Kagan, a vampire and influential Nazi collaborator, who was thought to be killed in an accident near the end of World War II. I was denied the pleasure of seeing him be murdered myself, I spent the sixty years after the War seeking out and destroying Kagan's other offspring and to find him. These offspring - my half-siblings - have banded together to form a group called the Cult of Kagan. The Cult has created "The Shroud", a substance that can render sun rays harmless to vampires, allowing them to surface at all times of the day, and twists nature into a nightmarish perversion. Using "The Shroud", the Cult has pledged to create a new era of vampire supremacy, continuing Kagan's legacy. I (sometimes, though quite rarely, referred to as "BloodRayne") am the protagonist of the franchise. I have a classic pale beauty-blood red hair and piercing eyes- bloodthirsty American dhampir, born c.1915 after my mother was raped by my vampire father. In 1932, I spent my teenage years trying to hunt down and kill my father. It was a search that led me to Europe, where I committed a series of murders along the way before being apprehended. Claiming that my victims had been vampires, I was quickly disbelieved by the authorities, but eventually managed to escape from them and continue my hunt.I was recruited into the mysterious Brimstone Society via an invitation. The Brimstone Society sent me on missions to eliminate supernatural threats to the world. One of these missions required me to use my vampiric powers against the Nazis, who were on the verge of using magical artifacts to bring Hitler to power. I also learned of a plan to use demonic parasites called Daemites against the enemies of the Nazis, after they had been tested on prisoners. I am highly athletic and versatile, thanks to my half-vampiric nature as well as a lifetime of training. In addition to my ability to jump more than 20 feet into the air, I can also fire one gun in each hand at different targets (and is strong enough to dual-wield assault rifles one-handed), use my aura vision to detect mission-specific targets, pull my foes towards me using a wrist-mounted harpoon in order to feed on their blood, though I am also able to jump on enemies close-range, and then feed on them with my legs wrapped around the enemy, heighten my reaction time using dilated perception, and zoom in on distant targets with one of my eyes like a sniper scope. Aside from the guns I would pick up from fallen enemies, I was equipped with sharp pointed blades mounted on my forearms and metal stilletos.While I have vampire-like strength, I also share at least some of their weaknesses. For example, standing in water burns me, causing me gradual damage (it immediately incinerates full-blooded vampires). On the other hand, I am unaffected by holy items and only mildly annoyed by sunlight, doing the same damage as water. While at Brimstone a Tibetan-born dhampir from the Brimstone Society, Mynce had the same skills as me and was the one who introduced me to the ways of the vampires, as well as giving me the harpoon which would become an important part of her arsenal. At the beginning of the first hunt, Mynce and I went to Louisiana to investigate the grotesque mutations of the residents. Mynce was attacked from behind by a spider-like demon called a Maraisreq and swallowed up whole before I could save her. She was then believed to be dead.However, Mynce resurfaced as the second-in-command of the GGG during my mission to stop Jurgen Wulf. Mynce did not give an explanation as to the means by which she survived being swallowed by the Maraisreq or the reason that she betrayed the Brimstone Society, and attacked me since she was an enemy of the GGG. Mynce fought with the same superhuman fighting moves as I did, but proved to be extremely weak, only having about as much health as a regular GGG officer. I sent her falling off a cliff, apparently to her death, and proceeded to eliminate the Kreiger twins. To my surprise, Mynce returned once again and revealed that she was a double agent, having taken out the rest of the GGG's officers and leaving only Wulf.While the dhampirs were on their way to find Wulf, we were separated by a steel barricade dropping from the ceiling. Wulf emerged with superhuman speed, plunged his hand into Mynce's chest and ripped out her heart. That was the last time I saw my mentor my once close friend. Servine another sidekick from the Brimstone Society is a vampire or half-vampire, Severin provides me with information about the enemy by radio, as well as advice on what to do next when there is a dead end.Severin claims that the Brimstone society will have drawn their lines carefully, waging war on all vampire kind, including people such as himself and I. Zerenski is my annoying, Dracula-impersonating half-brother and the first boss of the family. He owns a huge mansion and has an important social position. From what I can gather, he's also a playboy. Daniel Zerenski also mentions Delinda, one of his sisters, which I had previously killed. He is a generic vampire, and his sole ability is turning into a flock of bats. He is possibly the easiest boss next to Slezz.Ephemera is one of my half-sisters. She is very difficult to kill because of her ability to dive into shadows and heal herself; in fact, as long as there are shadows in an area, she is invincible. Ephemera has pale skin and no visible eyes. There is a theory which says that she is actually blind and the shadows which surround her have a role similar to a cat's whiskers. Also, she is presumed to have an aura vision superior to mine, (she's a full blooded vampire after all). Her long hair constantly floats around as if she is underwater. Ephemera is one of the more prominent villains, and is possibly Kagan's (my father's) favorite daughter. It is implied that she is also a full blooded vampire much like most of my siblings. Just like every member of my vampiric family, Ephemera likes to boss people around, using a commanding and despising tone ("blow the charges or I'll slit you!"). Also, she has little consideration for the rest of her family: she's not affected by Zerenski's death (even though she calls him "our dear brother" when talking to me), she despises Xerx ("my mongoloid brother") and wants her father dead. Ephemera's concept has some Asian influences: her minions strongly remind of ninjas and they use swords and shurikens. The final battle between me and Ephemera takes place in a Japanese-inspired garden. She is clever and calculated, not the direct type; she'd rather wait in the shadows and plan a deadly strike--both in combat and in life. Ephemera is also Severin's old love and master, but I took him from her, eight years before. However, she seems to still be interested in him: she asks me about him several times ("Is that my old love, mister Severin? I'd like to pay him a visit. See if we can rekindle an old flame"). She even betrayed our sister Ferrill and stabbed her then threw her off of the Shroud tower.Ferril is another of my several half-sisters. Ferril has her own special powers just like me. She has an appearance much like a supernatural cat of sorts, with sharp, extended, clawlike fingernails, continually-shifting marks upon her skin, and eyes that are completely white. Ferril's temperament matches her feline appearance, as she has incredible speed and a wild temper. During the course of the game, Ephemera stabs Ferril in the back and throws her from a tower. In a manner befitting a feline creature, Ferril manages to survive this tremendous fall, returning later to meet her demise by the Sun Gun. Ferril has a problem with her temper (although most of it comes from hubris, she continually wants to be the best; quote: "Remember sister, I am the strongest and the fastest..."), much like the Dhampir myths, even though she is apparently a full blooded vampire, unlike myself.During all my journeys to get to my father I had 2 friends who came with me to help two vampire hunters, Sebastian and Vladimir, from the Brimstone Society. I soon started to have feelings for Sebastian, and I felt love for the first time during my life. During the battle to fight my father, Sebastian was stabed. I offered him a life, one like mine. He said he was just glad to know that my father was dead. I now sit in the chair my father once sat in. My next journey brought me to know Riddick, the most wanted man in the universe for killing people. He killed in the sence and style that I myself have...most out of anger and revenge. After being with Riddick for almost half a decade, we fell in love. Riddick has children from previus women, It doesn't bother me. What was in his past and in my past stays in the past. OUR future is just starting. Well before the childbirth of Meghan, Riddick took off... I adopted Sarah Riddick, and now there are 3 of us. I became a hybrid during the delivery of Meghan, I had to feed so I feed of Marcus who in turn gave me the power to reginerate. Also became Meghans godfather. I found my sister Kristanna Kagan, my big sister. Queen Lillith became my mother. I found a life with my husband Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa - -

People take friends and loved ones for granted. i posted a bulletin last week or so about the death of my aunt. Today I found out that the person who was my rock, my shoulder, my best friend in Junior High school is dead. Although Im busy within my own bubble, my kids, my husband, my work. I didn't stay in touch with all of those I loved the most. Again a self dwelling image of how people take what they have and let it go.I found out TODAY after reading a school blog.... on myspace. But if I were such a friend, why didn't i know?? Because I don't feel like answering the phone when I see some-ones name pop up, because I don't answer to unknown caller. i can have many excuses. But none that can explaine the shock I'm in right now.My Heroe: my rock, my shoulder, my best friend, my diary. Jeffrey Phillip Ginkowski, age 24, of Racine, Wis., died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 28, 2002.He was born in Kenosha on April 24, 1977, to Stanley and Deborah (Phillips) Ginkowski.He attended Holy Rosary School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1995. He attended UW-Milwaukee and then transferred to UW-Eau Claire.He resided in Eau Claire the past two years and returned to this area in January 2002. He was employed as a tax preparer by Ginkowski and Ginkowski. "He was supposed to usher here Sunday, and in fact had told his dad he had to get up early."Shawano Police Chief Mark Kohl said this morning that Jozwiak died after a .38 caliber handgun he was handling discharged, firing a shot into his head.Kohl said the initial investigation shows that the shooting was accidental, but the department is continuing its investigation to confirm that.The grief counseling program at the high school has been activated to assist students when they return to class on Wednesday.,
