BadCopBadCop are a great big beautiful blossoming flower of Sonic Colour and Visceral Sound, grown in the thick loamy soil of Noise, Psychedelic Rock, Doom, Avant Garde, Punk, and/or Drone musick. Most of our music is implied, rather than actually played.The core power trio is made up of: A.D. Machine (GRIST, Pig Slash Rhino, The Horn, Fuck You God, HAARK, Forgotten Cairns): abstract drums and clattering. Buffy Tufnel (The Stabs, The Assassination Collective, Bowl of Dick): guitar whirlwind and tinnitus.Elise Bishop (Meat Market, Universal Joint, She Camel of God, On, Elise and Jem, Auxillary Assembly): shockwaves, bowel drone and destruction of bass amps.Occasionally, we also team up with the delectable ball of poison that is Daisy Buchanan, who takes to the vocals like a frenzied cat takes to small native marsupials. The first time we ever played together was a live-to-air on 3CR. We've tried rehearsing now and then, but it just doesn't seem to work for us. What you get is rare improvised sloppy drug-haze doom visceral total noise grimm chaos love rock n roll joy. And, on top of all that, we're quite nice people too.
