BIO.This proyect is born at the half of 2004, when David Lastra and Fernando Hernandez began with it, inviting musicians from other bands like; Jonathan Lastra, Ernesto Miranda and Daniel Castañeda, the line-up at that time was:Starting with the first rehersal sessions the band started playing covers of othwr bands such as Cradle of Filth and Immortal, with some time with this line-up the band started making their two first songs called: “For All Centuries” and “Kingdom of Hatred” two months later Carlos Perea joins the band to play the keyboards but he’ll not last long on it and left the band soon.With this tho themes made, the band takes a rest fro August 2004 to December 2004 after this time the band decide to start rehearsing again and made a new theme called: “Black Storm” in January 2005 Carlos Perea joined the band completely making the line-up complete again, to start with their 4th theme “Sadness” in this period the band gets their debut event in the city of Cuernavaca called: “Metal Mass” on April 30th 2005, before this event Ernesto Miranda left the band, and he’ll not appeared in the debut gig.Since their debut, Ahura Mazda is invited to several events in the City and also in other parts of the Country like: Puebla, Tlaxcala, Mexico City, Celaya, and others. Ahura Mazda started recording their first demo in the year of 2006, wich was never released.After that, in October 2006 lead singer Fernando Hernandez left the band, ceasing the activities of it, since Fernando’s left, Jonathan Lastra decided to take the place of singer, but in January 2007 , Guillermo Antunez arrived at the band, ready to enter the recording studios as the lead singer.Actually, Ahura Mazda just finished recording their first album “Shadows of the Emptiness” wich is looking for a record label .Ahura Mazda still taking part at events in the city of Cuernavaca and so others.The actul Ahura mazda’s line-up is:JONATHAN LASTRA Lead Guitar, Guitars, Clean Guitars and Vocals. DAVID LASTRA Bassguitar DANIEL CASTAÑEDA Drums CARLOS PEREA Keyboards GUILLERMO ANTUNEZ Vocals ABRAHAM HERNANDEZ Guitars.This is the Ahura Mazda’s line-up wich pretends to take their music to many other parts to be heard, defining their genre as Black Death Metal
