She’s Sinking News Bulletin
It’s a little weird to start such good news on such a down note, but it has to be done, so here it goes: Our shows this weekend at the Slide Bar & Vinyl Red are canceled. The last Slide Bar show we played was intensely awesome, as anyone who was there can atest to, which makes it even more of a bummer. The chicks there are crazy! After our set two them started making out in the loading area right after one of them puked in the street. Brandon said it was the manliest thing he’d ever seen a chick do. Another one couldn’t be bothered to wait in line for the ladies room, so she copped a squat and did her business right in the street as onlookers gawked in disbelief. Fortunately, the rest of the ladies there just danced their sexy lil asses off to the rock hurricane coming from the stage (*whew* almost broke my arm on that one). So believe me when I tell you we all really want to play another show Saturday. I won’t bore you with the behind the scenes drama, just know that we are flattered and amazed to have such dedicated fans, and if there were any way to do it, we definitely would. Besides, there’s so much great stuff going on that it’s hard to dwell on the speed bumps. But let’s get to the good stuff:
‘DANCING UNDER GUNFIRE’ EP TO BE RELEASED IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS!! We’re aiming to put it on iTunes for everyone to download. It’s six searing tracks of rock sexiness! Well, except one. That track will cause you to call your mom and thank her for being so awesome, or stop and smell the flowers, or light candles and make love... to yourself or others. Such is the power of the rock ballad. On top of that we’ve been writing new songs like crazy, and they’ve even got me working on remixes for Sole Untamed! I can’t wait to blow your minds with them, and force your zombie headless bodies to dance to my irresistible beatz!-Jeff & the rest of the She’s Sinking crew.
