Growing never ends.
never leave those who treat you right, go where you're celebrated, not tolerated. it all seems to make sense right? let your heart break all the chains you're bound to. just don't let your heart overcome reasoning. some feelings are meant for the movie screen and should be kept there. in reality, you might find like i have that they're just not the same and can't be recreated. i say i've learned from a lot of mistakes. if i didn't i'd only be dragging myself lower. beating yourself up about personal problems isn't the way to heal them- you have to accept the problem and work on ways to remove it. staggering at the hinderince of yourself only makes you weaker. sometimes a drunken conversation is all you need to realize how a relationship is really going. if you don't ask the right questions you'll never get the answers you're looking for. being truthful with the person, and to yourself is the best way to resolve any confusion. because honestly, how can honesty cause confusion? hiding emotions is not the best way to deal with them. it doesn't do any good for you or the people that care about you. love the day, let the past be the past, remember tomorrow isn't here yet, but it's coming. don't forget where you are at the present, because it's echoes determine what happens tomorrow. whenever you feel low, remember how you felt at better times, before your problems, hold onto that. it will get you through tough times. memory serves us the best healing, but can also serve as the worst pitfall, it's all in how you use it. love yourself, and love your friends. and don't forget, that no matter what you may think of yourself, your friends are there to support you. you know who your true friends are, sometimes even the best ones can never get to see you, whether they live in a different country, are out at sea, or at a place you call home that's far from you. don't believe you're any lesser than anyone is. we're all humans, not all of our flaws are visible. keep the promises you make, because you never know who's heart you're breaking when you fall through.
