With every mistake is a great lesson learned.

About Me

..
My philosphy on life is to learn from your past, but live in your present. There are too many dreams to be made a reality and dwelling on the past is time wasted. We can't change it, we can only learn from our mistakes in order to become a better individual now and in the future.I'm 32 years old - and YES that's my REAL age (for those who insist I'm not, really your kind, but if I was going to lie about my age, I wouldn't make myself OLDER!). However, you are only as old as you allow yourself to feel, right (in which case I am eternally 22). I'm a proud mom of a gorgeous young woman named Alyssa, she's 14. Not only is she beautiful, she's also a talented cheerleader, lacrosse player and smart to boot! But I'll stop doing the proud mom thing now....I'm engaged to the love of my life, Keith and I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with him. He's the only one that can make me smile as much as my daughter and that's HUGE! But I digress with the sappiness.I LOVE football, especially the Eagles - I'm a total jock with an artistic, creative side (imagine that) - I write poetry, but only when I'm inspired to do so - I Live for the nights I'll never remember, with the friends I'll never forget - I'm a complete clutz, but enjoy laughing at my mishaps.... And there's absolutely no better way to my good side than to have laughing in stitches until my stomach hurts!

Music:

Depends on my mood, really. But among my favorites are Jack Johnson, OAR, Jack's Mannequin, Coldplay, John Mayer, DMB, Green Day, Yellowcard, The Fray, Dashboard Confessional, Nickelback... I'm sure I'm forgetting someone

Movies:

I really do enjoy a nice light-hearted comedy, but surprisingly I can really get in to the action flick. My all time favorite movie......"Life As a House" - I highly recommend it.

Television:

I am absolutely obsessed with LOST, it seriously may need intervention soon. Gray's Anatomy is a close 2nd and my shameful infatuation, is "The Hills" on MTV

Books:

If this subject was labeled "magazines" then we could talk... I'm really bad about reading books, despite good intentions. I'm just more of a social, personable, mingling king of girl. But I I have to say my fav. book so far is the Va Vinci Code (brilliant)

Heroes:

My Step-Dad, Ben

Poem: Because I Met You

Ok... So it may be a little cheesey, but it is heartfelt none-the-less and on of my brighter ones (admittedly a lot of my poetry can be a bit deep and depressing, haha).   Because I Met You  ...

Cycle of Life Margie.LeRoux July 06

I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, start out dead and get it out of the way.  Then you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day. You get kicked out for bein...

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, then circumstances...
