I'm a guitarplayer myself. I began my guitarcareer at the age of 10. I was heavily influenced by the Rolling Stones and Santana. I've stopped playing at the age of 14...Later on I've listened a lot to jazz, fusion and rock. Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Wayne Shorter opened my ears and my love for real music began to grow. I've started guitar again and I kept learning. Great guitar heroes like John McLaughlin, Larry Coryell, Mick Taylor are my favorites to listen and to learn.
I'm very busy with my own NEW band. We are LILY BLACK and we're playing hard-edge Funk with a lot of wah-wah, heavy drumbreaks, dancing basslines and screaming guitarsolo's. The band has the spirit of Blaxploitation, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, The Meters, Soulive and Jamiroquai.
