The company has enjoyed expansive growth due to the completion and release of its most successful full-length feature film to date, “Project 313.” Produced, filmed, and distributed completely by the team at DM Films, “Project 313” has received rave reviews from the local media and from recognized industry celebrities throughout the Midwest. The film also gained the attention of national industry moguls through its presence at three prominent film festivals. The DM Films production team was able to quickly reach a cash positive position on its initial investment in the film through its premieres to sold-out audiences across the city. Net revenue generated from the film continues to grow daily. Current sales of the DVD version of the film, along with the film’s soundtrack remain brisk. The Director (Darren Brown) and Writer (Jay White) will team up again to produce “The Bricks” The prequel to the nationally distributed “PROJECT 313”, which with a substantially higher budget promises to be another gritty urban classic.Proceeds from “Project 313” have afforded DM Films the opportunity to grow its staff, and to upgrade its already state of the art production equipment. Construction is also well underway for the company’s own production studio located just outside the Detroit city limits. With a suite of additional film projects already booked, DM Films is poised for a long run of fresh new content that will absorb the interest of moviegoers for a long time to come.
