About Me

i crochet a lot. i drink a lot. i work too much in the summertime. i talk a lot. i have a big family so i have big stories to tell. i wear flipflops year 'round and no my toes don't get cold. i live in the cville equivalent of the ghetto. i indulge in pretention. i'm kind of a good time if you get past slash appreciate the bitchiness/moodiness.

My Interests

desserts. tales of wanderlust. yarn and other pursuits that will lead to my inevitable old lady-dom (how does one go about having a cat find her?).

I'd like to meet:

people who: still make mix tapes, can do foreign laughs, quote random movies, dance in public on non-dance floors, appreciate the merits of chocolate, wine, cheese, coffee, and teas. etc etc.

hipster kids.

Music:

going through phases...summertime (see jack's mannequin, paolo nutini, blackalicious) autumn (see eleni mandell, alexi murdoch, maroon 5, matt kearney) winter (ben kweller, hush sound, counting crows, josh groban) spring (tbd)

Television:

whatever i can snake online or remember to watch on the actual television.

Books:

vonnegut. harry potter books. murakami. slate.com.
