Remission was born and raised in the North of Quebec in the small and secluded city of Sept-Iles, and eventually moved towards the country side of the Eastern Townships. For Five years and counting, he has been living amongst millions in the heart of Montreal. The identity of Remission, a Self Titled Poet, has emerged from the fast pace, choatic city life of the metropolitan. With the influence of the Freezing winters and blazing summer days, the thoughts, poems, and life theories have been colliding with the surface of a blank page. In 2004, Mind over Matter (Soma's Complex & Remission with Beats supplied by Daywalker) was formed and a four song demo "Under Societies Umbrella" was recorded. Today, Remission is currently in the process of recording a mixtape with Mtl. emcee Jaune Attends ... This project is called CHESTERFIELD... and combines the contrasting personalities, style, and originality of these 2 very different & Disinct individuals... Together they will reach the masses and bring something new to this art form. Also a Solo project is underway with the help of Daywalker, Embedded Stains, Jaune Attends & Kick et Snare... With time, experience, education, and inspiration, Remission is maturing and developing as an artist, & perfecting his craft.... Look Out & Keep Your Ears Open...
