About Me

Born and raised in LA ( The Jungles) and moved to The Valley in Elementary School. Yes y'all I'm a Valley Girl and proud of it! I've been doing comedy for a year; it took me 15 years to over come my fears and pick up a microphone. Sometimes I curse myself for waiting so long to do comedy, but I know mentally I wasn't ready then. I went to LA high school for the Arts with an emphasis in theatre, and I graduated from CSUN with a BA in Communication. I've performed everywhere including well known comedy clubs/bars to my local Laundry Matt. I DON'T think that I'm too good to perform in certain places like some comics. Having an opportunity to perform is a blessing, so I try and get up where ever I can. This is the first time in my life that I feel truly happy because I am fulfilling a dream. I would never allow my ego or fears to rob me of that. I have a lot of dues to pay before I can actually make a living doing comedy, so I aint got time to waste. My Interests

I like having fun, and I enjoy the spotlight. I also, love Food it seems I'm happiest when I'm eating. Whoever said the quickest way to a "woman's" heart is with food wasn't lying. FEED ME! I enjoy traveling and I go to New York every year. It's where mommy and daddy are from. I haven't left the country yet but I have a passport. I enjoy working out because it energizes me. I haven't been able to work out as much as I'd like, now that I've been wearing my hair straight. Sweat and processed hair don't mix. Ya heard! Again, I love eating, and last but not least making people laugh. I'm happiest when I'm on stage. It's by far the heardest thing I've ever done but the results are priceless.

I'd like to meet:

Michael Jackson ---- The greatest entertainer of all time. He's definitely got some issues but, hey don't we all? Oprah, she's the highlight of my day. I could have the worst day imaginable, but knowing that I taped Oprah just brightens up my day. I "ride" everyday nonstop for Oprah. I know I have no life, but that's okay cause I've got Oprah. Also, anyone who's down to earth. I can't stand the fak-o's that give Angelenos a bad name!

Music:

Music gets me "high" and I don't know where I would be without it. Not feeling hip hip as much as I did. Most of the radio hits are garbage! Now a days artists are making music to make money. Instead, of making music that is "conscious". And I get it...the conscious "crap" doesn't sell and everybody's wants to get rich quick. But I refuse to get rich quick by selling my soul to devil! Movies:

Don't watch too many movies. I've never been good at remaining idle for more than 20 minutes. I get tired. Sometimes I swear I'm a 90 year old woman. Some of my favorite movies that I have been able to stay awake through include Shrek, New Jack City, The Color Purple, Austine Powers, Clueless, Evil Dead 2, Space Balls, Selena, Coming to American, Monster, Crash, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and Bowling for Columbine. Television:

Oprah is the highlight of my day! She's the only thing worth watching since I don't have cable.

Books:

Dang!! I can never finish a book now-a-days. The last book I started reading was the Da vinchi Code. It was the bomb I just didn't have time to finish it. I'm still working on getting through the Bible. I haven't had much of a desire to read lately, but this is one book that I definitely need to make time for.
