Hook is hardcore band from Voronezh, Russia. We started to practice in winter'04. Our first sound was inspired by old school/youth crew bands. Since that times there're some changes in the band until we found ourselves in spring of 2005. And practice, practice, practice... new songs. We added some melodic parts and at the same time breakdowns with gang vocals.
Our lyric is about all-time problems in relationships between people. Friendship, unity, ideals are not just words. We paid attention to these simple, but very important things.
We played only 2 shows. Both were in Voronezh. First one was with local bands and the second - with our friends Zasraly Solnce from Krasnodar, Russia.
In summer'06 we broke up because of geographical reasons. Check out two other Voronezh bands with members of Hook: Abstract (metalcore) and Last Days (punk rock).
In spring/summer 2006 we recorded demo, but it’s still in the mixing process:)
We're looking for a band to make split with in Russia and label to release our demo outside Russia. Also, right here on myspace you can check pre-demo version of our song "Inhale-Exhale".
