About Me

imikimi - Customize Your World!... Well first, I use this page to promote myself as a musician. I play every genre of music. Yes, that includes Latin, Jazz, Bluegrass, Gospel and rarely punk. I love studio work, and adding my own art to a song. My true passion is performing. ... ....... ...... ...... .......I was born and raised in the small town of East Bernstadt aka.(ApeYard) out side of London in South-Eastern Kentucky. I have always had a passion for music. I started playing trumpet in elementary school, moved on to keys, guitar, and drums. When I was around eleven years old I found music belonging to my father like George Straight, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and David Allen Coe. This would be the big spark that would drive me to play like the best. By the age of 18 and cut loose from my moms skirt tail, girls and fast cars became my focus. A few years later a good friend Ronnie Morgan said "lets start a band". This time I would be on Bass. I found my true calling in music. Bass opened up a spectrum of music that would take me deep into the pocket of groove. I'm one of those guys that has the brain power to fix anything, talent of arts like portraits, pastels, pen and ink, complex oil paintings, comic art and much more, music took the place of all. My journey playing bass had landed me playing with so many talented bands and musicians. After moving to Florida lessons in music theory would open the doors to any gig. I have played with some top musicians. Creating some incredible memories for a small town country boy. I have played in many bands such as Papercutt, Ronalds Junk, backyard, Threshold, Crysis, Dan Story, The Sez Who Band, Savannah Kent, SubtleHaze, Thirty Three, TENSION, My Last Breath, Rock Solid, and Reckless Faith just to name a few. I have played every style of music from Blue Grass to Metal, to learn how to apply the bass in the best fashion per genre. I have also done my fair share of hired gigs and sit ins. My current project is a Country band "the Shane Wooten band" in my top friends, please check us out..GEAR. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1976 Fender Jazz Bass restored by TDM, with original hardware and pickups, loaded with J-Retro preamp. 1969 Fender Jazz Bass loaded with J-retro preamp and tuned B,E,A,D for the lowend.
