About Me

He must increase, but i must decrease.
XLIII:III:XXX

there is more to life than finding a person and falling in love. if we can't be content and faithful with the love that comes from above, how can we expect God to trust us with one another?
let us not forget the supplier of love itself...

If God wanted only absolute obedience He could have created Adam and Eve so they could not disobey Him, but He did not even created the angels that way. What good is worship from one incapable of doing otherwise? If our typical "worship services" are an indication of the state of our worship, the Lord might have done just as well to program a thousand computers to sing praises to Him. If we are told when to stand, when to sit, what to sing, etc., we may have order, and it may sound good, but is it touching the heart of God? Typical church worship, whether its is traditional, Pentecostal, Charismatic, or Third Wave, is often little more than an attempt to warm up the audience for the main act--the preaching.
We must seek the Lord as to how to attain true worship in our services, because something must be done to rescue the church from these spiritual ruts. Unless worship enables our hearts to touch the heart of God it is not worship at all--it is just noise. If we touch the heart of God our hearts will be changed. Every worship service should be an encounter with the presence of the Lord. When we behold the glory of the Lord we will be changed by that glory. However, true worship does not come by trying to see the Lord, it comes from seeing Him.

we live in perishable bodies that contain an eternal spirit...

God doesn't expect us to be perfect, but He expects us to shoot for nothing less. grace is grace and it has been given to those who simply receive it. the reality lies in those who use grace to stay content with where they are at vs. those who use grace to continue to put off the old man and take on the new. its one thing to know change is necessary and its another to actually partake in it. enlightenment is the Holy Spirit's job, action is up to the individual.

His grace is unspeakable, but not unseen.
for my life is one big example of His never ending supply.

I know I could say that Jesus is my life and that He means everything to me. I could also tell you about how He changed my life but I believe talk is cheap. My hope is that when you get to know me you'll more importantly see Him. For its not really about me.

I only wish to be a mirror to reflect that of greater importance.

Churches are full of people who take up seats, lift their hands, and run through the motions. The world has plenty of religion but is forgetting to have a relationship with the Creator of the universe.

I don't want to run through the motions anymore...

A Love Observed - The Middle

Falling in love is a lot like jumping off a cliff. We take hold of the hand we wish to plummet with and spring forth. Sometimes this is without thought, planning, or without the entirety of our heart....
