Deputy manager for a Manchester Post Office,and part-time DJ. Done some NEW ORDER nights in Manchester City Centre.Wanted to do it since I went to a Smiths & Morrissey night. Want to be a regular city centre fixture though.I'm always buzzing to do the next "neworderdisco",my next one is a FREE gig at The Oddfellows Arms in Eccles,Manchester on Saturday JUNE 28 2008.Highlights last year(2006) was meeting all of New Order at the opening of the new Virgin Megastore in Manchester.And getting to DJ with Peter Hook at ULU in London.A good night,all for good causes CANCER RESEARCH and NSPCC. Got to meet the Hookster again,plus Mr David Potts of MONACO and RAM.Still harbour dreams of becoming a musician.Play bass guitar.Started going to jam nights in the week to get a bit of experience.I've learnt more performing with others than I'll ever learn out of a book! Often get complaints from the band,that I'm playing too high...it's the Hooky spirit!! LOL.Currently resident DJ at The Oddfellows Arms,Eccles,Manchester every Friday and Saturday. Also a regular on neworderonline.com where I'm known as MONTY. Not only the best website on the planet,but also the best friends on the planet too.Finally got hitched to my little lady Julie last October!
