About Me

Cynergy: the combined power of a group of individuals when they are working together which is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately. !

Cynergy was born as a result of an Open Trials day organised by the NSPL with league players aspiring to become members of a professional team that represents the NSPL Community at the highest level of international play. Selected by the head-coach of Nexus, Pete Robinson, eight individuals showing raw talent, eagerness to progress, and staying power make up the initial roster and the team is growing from there.

The current roster looks like this...

* Chris Pelling: - Team Owner
* Lindsey Cunliffe: - Team Coach
* Mel Naughton - Team Manager
* Andy Burridge - Player
* Harry Pitchers - Player
* Jay Ford - Player
* Marc Jones - Player
* Matthew Nicholson-Upcott - Player
* Shayne Lanning - Player
* Simon Milone- Player
Cynergy is sponsored by Proto Paintball, UCZ Paintball Park, Skirmish Bristol, Paintball Warehouse and, of course, the NatWest Southern Paintball League itself. Shooting the Proto Matrix 6 and wearing Proto Clothing, the team certainly looks the business and will play hard, fair, and aggressive paintball in an effort to represent these sponsors in the best light. At its heart though, is a team that wants to represent the NSPL players and community above all. Showing the world what the NSPL is made of and giving the league players a successful and appealing team that it can support at international competitions.

Game plan:

All players on Cynergy are under a two-year contract because the team has a two-year plan. In 2006, the team will be mostly training and doing everything it needs to in order to secure a Division 1 spot in next year's Millennium Series. During 2007, Cynergy will be competing hard within that division with the consuming desire to qualify for the Champions Pro League (the highest level of play within Europe) at the end of that season.The team believes in setting its sights high in order to achieve the best possible results. With the NSPL Community and fantastic sponsors behind it, Cynergy firmly believe they can achieve their objectives.In 2006, Cynergy will be making their Millennium debut at Bitburg, securing valuable refereeing points to help ensure their Div 1 spot for 2007. The team will then play Paris and Campaign in order to boost those points and gain valuable experience competing at Div 1 level.In 2007, Cynergy will be playing every Millennium event of the season and training every spare minute to ensure the best possible results. Only time will tell what the end of the two-year mission will yield.

Support Your Team

The NSPL calls upon all members of the league community to support Cynergy in their efforts to represent you. And all we want you to do is demonstrate that support with kind words, encouragement and cheers for the team wherever you may come across them.
