About Me

I can be sweet and generous, or a cruel loudmouth bitch, depending on when you catch me, and how you treat me. More often than not, I just want to be alone or with my boy (when he's available to me); but, if I go out I want to be amused. I'm up for a good time just like anyone else. I'm also willing to work for the things I want, take pride in the things I do, and try to appreciate the things in life that so often go unnoticed.

My Interests

Whatever catches my attention.

Music:

Every style of music has its ups and downs. I could just as easily listen to classical as classic rock, as well as several other options. Some of my +least+ favored are country, happy hardcore, and easy listening. I used to be really into the music scene, a concert a week, favorite artists, and all that jazz...but now its mainly background sounds for me.

Movies:

If its on, I'll watch it (or fall asleep, as is the growing tendency). I have no particular preference in genre. Some of my all-time favorites are Fight Club, Very Bad Things, and Alice in Wonderland. There's rarely a day gone by where I don't watch at least one movie.

Television:

I grew up watching television, and I stick to my claim that those boxes taught me more than anyone or any institution ever could have. I can't stand most sitcoms or reality tv, but anything else is fair game, from discovery to cartoons to prime time. I especially like the sci-fi commercials.

Books:

I generally stick to the classics, stories that have been acclaimed for decades. If I pick it up, I want to already know its going to be good. I also have a tendency to get halfway through something and stop for years, good or bad...except Chuck Palahniuk books.

Heroes:

My heroes are the people who keep the life going that I love. Kudos to everyone that helps me be the spoiled bitch that I am.

My Blog

Strange awakening

I have been quietly nostalgic the past few days, maybe due to the turn of the season.  This morning in particular, I fell asleep thinking about old times with a certain girl.  I have harbore...

Cat seeking new home/family

The cats still aren't getting along, especially since I made them both inside only cats.  They're making me, as well as each other, miserable.  As I cannot give away Tony's cat, Lola (Lolita...

Classifieds

I used to be so creative, imaginative, and had a dreamworld that rivaled any reality.  I lost it somewhere. I need to be inspired, I crave it, and feel an emptiness without it.  I don't trul...

Don't think cuz I'm talkin, we're friends

Something a girl said the other day got me thinking, about not taking your love for granted. When I apply this to an extended network of relationships not including just the person I am in love with, ...

All things must end

The weekend went by so quickly.  Sad, really. It was fun, though.  Brian took me over to Gene's apartment for a visit Friday, and we sat around talking when we got home, which we do a lot. G...

the rising moon

So my new manager started up a conversation about horoscopes, out of the blue asking me if I was a Leo.  I was told that she had been trying to figure it out for about a week, and was sure s...

The city is restless, ready to pounce

Brian is such a good little puppy. He comes over the other day to bring me presents, then I'm bored looking through my pictures on the computer and see a bunch of photoshopped saved files hidden for m...

Build-up

I hate constantly being surrounded by ignorant people. People aren't even smart enough to rob someone properly.  All the stuff we have in the garage, and all they want is some open liquor bottles...

I want one of my very own.

The boy has gone over my Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends marathon.  What is a girl to do without her Blooregard?
