I am here for Friends

About Me

Hi, i'm Siobhan.
I am half English and half Guyanese. But my name is Gaelic. Bet you can't pronounce it!
Anyway, I was born in England and lived there until I was fourteen, at which point my sisters and I were uprooted and re-planted in the sandy soils of Florida.
I'm a senior at Florida State, majoring in studio art. What i'm going to do with a degree in that particular field... I don't yet know. We shall see... As graduation steadily approaches, i'm beginning to panic!
I'd like to think i've adapted fully to life in the States, although I occassionally say the wrong word here and there, and my friends think the way I pronounce 'squirrel' is funny.

The people you meet at the bus stop...

This week seems to be the week of weirdo encounters at the bus stop. Tuesday, i'm waiting for the bus to come by to take me back home, and i'm listening to my iPod.  I'm looking to the left, beca...

The Best Years of My Life?

All of a sudden, I figured out that I don't like change.  At least not at the moment. I've never really had a problem with it before.  You know, no big deal when I moved here from England.&n...

Strange People

I was reading my friend's Myspace bulletins just now, and I came across one of those 'chain letter' type posts. It basically talked about how a murderer got into a house (I think a girl had four frien...

Jumbled up thoughts

I've never been much of a writer.  I've never been good at expressing what i'm thinking, either.  Probably explains why I've been staring at the screen for about fifteen minutes thinking of ...
