ANT GLYNNE has written, recorded, toured and worldwide performed with Rick Wakeman (Yes), Asia, Slash, Mike Oldfield, Leo Sayer, Cheetah, Maggie Bell/Midnight Flyer, Razar, Roger Chapman, Simon Philips (Toto), AC/DC and Bob Seger, Clive Burr and Nico McBrain (Iron Maiden), Taj Mahal, Albert Collins, Gary Moore, Simon Kirke and Mick Ralphs (Bad Company), Bob Skeat (Wishbone Ash), Mavis Staples (Staples Singers), Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, Mick Abrahams (Jethro Tull/Blodwin Pig), Nina Simone, Jason Bonham, Princess Stephanie, Maya, Kiki Dee, Angie Bowie, Kofi Baker, Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann), Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Tony Ashton, Judy Tzuke, Miller Anderson (Savoy Brown/John Lord) and other great musicians. For the last three years he has recorded and performed with Rick Wakeman and the English Rock Ensemble all over the world. Ant is primarily a performing rock lead guitarist, who also plays piano/keyboards, sings, composes and produces. Worldwide live and recorded TV/MTV/Radio/Video/DVD and stage appearances with various artists and bands. Several albums and singles incl. Crises/Shadow on the Wall (Mike Oldfield) and Aqua/Archiva 1+2 (Asia) went gold and platinum worldwide. Performed in arena tours throughout Europe, USA and South America. Played at the Monsters of Rock/Europe, Reading Festival/UK, Rosskilde Festival/Denmark, Montreux Jazz Festival/Switzerland, The Kremlin/Moscow, L.A. Forum/Madison Square Gardens/USA and Trois Rivieres/Canada (w/100 piece orchestra & choir) amongst other venues and festivals. Ant was previously managed by Peter Grant (Led Zeppelin), produced by Kit Lambert (The Who), Martin Rushent, Mick Ralphs (Bad Company), Damon Lyon Shaw (Status Quo)and others. Signed to Swan Song (Atlantic Records), Charisma, Track Records and Polydor. Played in original West End productions of "Rent", "Fosse", ”Winter’s Tale” and “Stop in the name of love”. He toured the world representing Fender and Marshall. PRS endorsee & Marshall demonstrator/endorsee. Worked on several film soundtracks incl. Killing Fields (David Putnam), Freddy the F.R.O.G. and Alone. Ant composes instrumentals from heavy rock to orchestral, writes music for theme parks incl. Tussauds Studios as well as TV/Film music, currently featured on History Channel. Recently working on a score for a modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s ’Antony & Cleopatra’. Ant recently worked with Asia on their new Album “Silent Nations” in LA and composes/produces soundtracks and songs for various clients. The new DVD “Out there”/Rick Wakeman and the English Rock Ensemble featuring Ant has now been released worldwide. A worldwide re-release of “Midnight Flyer” album on CD has just come out on Angel Air label.
