I have more nicknames than any other person I have met thus far, so feel free to add to the growing list.
I was born in East Amherst, NY, but it's been exactly six years since I left home and moved here, New Zealand.
I'm still an American.
I'm also a Christian. Ask me about it, I'll be more than happy to share.
I'm moving soon. I'll miss more things than I realise and I'd like to admit, because I've been waiting to leave for forever now. I've begun realising some little things lately that I didn't realise I will miss:
- My job and my work friends.
- Jeremy and I having picnics in Calculus class.
- Troublemaking in study periods.
- The Mad As Mission Crew's adventures...
to places like this:
- "Jamming" with Chris in Music class... Or watching him rock out.
- My regulars at work.
- Walking through the mall and knowing half the people I go past.
- Steven's headtop kisses, love letters and him making me blush.
- Having Sophie to rely on whenever I need her.
- Having Sophie to talk to like my diary.
- Driving with Sophie, blasting her music, and singing like nobody's listening.
- Sophie.
- Coming in at 6am from hanging out with Joshua.
- Being able to sneak out through my own ranch slider in my bedroom.
- Going to Elim every Sunday.
- My friends at Elim.
- Gigs... Dancing like a madwoman at them.
- Being a groupie of my local bands.
Many, many more things. Unfortunately.
I will always stick up for my family, my friends, and myself.
I won't let people walk all over me, or the people I care about.
I will always stand up for what I believe in.
I am strong willed and opinionated.
I l♥ve music. I'm an indie girl at heart. THERE. I said it.
I play piano, bass guitar, and have recently picked up the acoustic guitar.
I can now play Caring Is Creepy by The Shins.
I am super proud of that.
I'm outgoing and loud, but I have my quiet moments.
Certain people make me pull back into my shell, but those who I am most comfortable with bring out my true cwaziness.
I'm sarcastic too much. And have a wacky sense of humor.
People tell me I'm violent. But only in a playful way, of course.
I laugh lots. Until I bend over in agony, crying, and my face hurts so much that I have to squeeze my cheeks to try to stop myself from smiling.
I don't know the color of my own eyes.
And I can't describe my hair color.
Do you find that weird? I do.
I am always analyzing people, feelings, situations and dreams.
I will almost always tell you what I'm feeling.
...even though I hate feeling vulnerable.
I'm not the kind of person that can easily just pretend everything is normal when it isn't, I am too real and genuine for that.
I hate fakeness.
And I am not afraid of confrontation.
I LOVE my job. I work at The CD & DVD Store . My very own Staff Picks row has some sweet music and a caption that reads:
"Chloë rules over Saturdays with an iron fist. She stays true to her New York roots by refusing to listen to NZ music and talking funny. We highly recommend Chloë and her indie taste."
