Once upon a time I was a bunhead on scholarship-Ballet was my one and only love-until I was injured-thrown into the land of real teenagers(yikes) and MTV-between trying to mimick Ms. Jacksons choreography in my living room and sneaking a jazz class in(knee slide?whats a knee slide?) I landed in my first music video-thanks to TOLEDO and Julie McDonald-the journey through various forms of movement has been an amazing and unexpected gift and "career" if you want to label it as that-Most days being on a set-in a club or on tour never felt like "work"-it was the in between times that felt arduous and dark--know what i mean?-If you are a performer-you probably do... Much of my life here has been colored by the loss of both of my parents at a young age-and as corny as it sounds dancing has been the most healing outlet for my grief- Miraculously I am now a mommy and continue to dance in spite of what conventional thinking tells me-A new journey has just begun-I am blessed-
