BEVEL

About Me

Bevel is the solo project of Drunk & Manishevitz guitarist Via Nuon. The delicate folk of Bevel's debut, Turn the Furnace On, was released in 2000. Via Nuon collaborated with members of Boxhead Ensemble, Edith Frost, Shannon Wright, and others on Bevel's 2002 folk/alt-country record, Where Leaves Block the Sun. Penned as early as 1998 and as late as 2002, Bevel decided to work new tracks and rework old tracks for an EP release in 2004. Down the Puppet String, Marionettes EP was released by Jagjaguwar in January 2004.-All Music Guide (by David Serra)
