Movies, Music, and Burritos
anyone who is interesting.
I probably waste more of my money on music, than anything else (well, except for coke, and whores) here's a VERY incomplete list in no particular order: Fugazi, Dead Kennedys, Old Bad Religion, Bright Eyes, At The Drive In, Sparta, Mars Volta, Guttermouth, The man in black Johnny Cash, Old Pearl Jam, Tool, Minor Threat, Tori Amos, Good Riddance, Good ol' Ludwig Van, Joe Strummer, Nick Cave, Rise Against, The White Stripes, Op Ivy, Thursday, Old AFI, Primus, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, Led Zepplin Boy Sets Fire, The Streets, Flogging Molly . . . . and I can't forget my Creedence tapes (It's been a long day and I fucking hate the Eagles man)
I LOVE movies. I could make a really long list but I don't like to type, and you probably won't really read it all anyway so I'll just mention a few, in no particular order. American Beauty, The Contender, 25th Hour, Igby Goes Down, Memento, High Fidelity, Snatch, Most Kubrick, Heat, Ronin, Lebowski, The 40 Year Old Virgin, We Were Soldiers, Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Fight Club, The Naked Gun, Anything Wes Anderson (even his American Express commercial, anything witty / clever / original / artistic / philosophical. I love movies that make you think!
Don't watch much network tv. But I do like to watch The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Arrested Development, Southpark, Family Guy, The History, and Discovery Channels (but not that crap about redecorating your neighbors' whatever that they play during the daytime).
I don't read enough to have a list of favorites, but the last few things that I read were Cat's Cradle, and Beyond Einstein. I am currently reading Noam Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent, The Terror, and the IG Nobel Prizes.
