Im a Marine Biology major at Humboldt State University in Northern California. I spent the last year on a study abroad in Australia at the Unversity of Queensland... and I had the time of my life. I learned how to surf, and that the rest of the world really doesnt like americans to much, and that rum and coke really is better out of a can. And no.. they dont drink foster's there.... thats a big myth. XXXX (four X) is their beer of choice, though my personal favorite is Carlton (I might be slightly prejudiced by that one). Ok so now it sounds like I spent my whole time over there drinking... which I didnt.. I promise!! The best part of Australia is their beaches and their increadible amounts of marine life. Its just all over the place!! So if you're a marine animal freak like me... go to Australia!! Now Im back in California trying to finish up my last 3 semesters, and survive the rain. Im hoping to be back in Illinois for a month or so this summer.. so watch out all you Illinoisans!
