Eating, sleeping, Jack Black
Anyone who's having fun, living life, and isn't a moron.I love this song
I LOVE JAMIROQUAI! And other such beautifully talented people as The Brand New Heavies, Crowded House/Neil Finn, Corduroy, The Cardigans, Omar, The Fratellis, Daft Punk, Keane, Coldplay, The Arctic Monkeys, Beverley Knight, Los Amigos Invisibles, Breakestra, Stevie Wonder, The Automatic, Matinee Club, Maroon 5, Franz Ferdinand, Earth Wind & Fire, Phoenix, Portishead, Zero 7, Roy Ayers... And then random songs like MC Hammer's 'U Can't Touch This' or Britney Spears's 'Toxic'!! Also love Acid Jazz, House (more your soulful Hed Kandi stuff, not all that Trance nonsense), Old Skool Garage, Hip Hop and RnB, anything really. But NOT Country & Western, it makes my ears bleed!
Favourite movie of all time? Goodfellas! Can't put any quotes here without the liberal use of the asterisk! Otherwise anything funny or action-packed, or something that stimulates your brain. Loved Trainspotting, Wayne's World (and 2!), Amelie, Cinema Paradiso, Pulp Fiction, Friday, Edward Scissorhands, Oliver!, Kill Bill (both), all The New Jersey Chronicles, etc. Casino Royale was brilliant.
I like anything amusing or informative. Peter Kay is a comedy superstar, as is Ricky Gervais. Big Phoenix Nights/That Peter Kay Thing/The Office fan. Also absolutely adore Family Guy. Also enjoy watching the news and documentaries. I'm a sucker for Reality TV too (Oh, Big Brother!). Have to add my addiction to CSI (and all those 'True Life' crime shows), and quiz shows ie. 15 to 1, Catchphrase, Family Fortunes, Deal Or No Deal, Millionaire etc.
Yes, I did get sucked into reading The Da Vinci Code, and I quite enjoyed it. Angels and Demons is good too, but the other 2 Dan Brown wrote suck big hairy ones! Was encouraged to read loads when I was a nipper, especially lots of Enid Blyton. My favourite book is Cider With Rose by Laurie Lee. You don't read it; it invades your vision.Recently I've spent a lot of time with my head in books by Danny Wallace and Dave Gorman, as well as A Million Little Pieces by James Frey, Peter Kay's The Sound Of Laughter (not as good as I thought it would be) and a lovely book about Dirty Shakeperean text given to me by my dear friend Luke :-)
Peter Kay! Jay Kay! Anyone with the name 'Kay'! Well no, not really! I admire people who are really talented or who have worked damn hard to get to where they are. For instance, I adore Geri Halliwell. Even she would admit that she's not very good at anything, but she's strived and never given up. That takes a lot of courage.
