About Me

Hi all, I am living presently in Surprise, AZ with my mother who is very sick. I used to live in North Canton, Ohio until the age of 13/14 when my family and I moved out to Peoria, Arizona. After Arizona I returned to Ohio with my father and moved to Beloit for a bit and finished my High School education. After High School I then went to ITT and graduated in 2007. Presently I have an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Software Application Programming. I am considering going back to school for my Bachelor's, but I would very much like to go back to school for my first career choice - paleontology. I'm a strong web designer, I like designing websites and building computers. If you're local to Surprise and want friendly service with a PC don't be afraid to message me and I'll gladly assist.
My favorite foods are anything with meat in it. I like Steak, Ribs, Pork Chops, Mushrooms, Taco Bell food, Pizza Hut Meat Lover's Pizza, pancakes, bacon cheeseburgers, apples (Golden Delicious), Watermelon, and Strawberries. Food IS the quickest way to my heart.
I have a very odd or dark sense of humor, which is sometimes a bit morbid and off-key. I've often been told it's dry, sarcastic, wry and often - witty. I try to find humor in a lot of things in life. My motto is if you can't find the comedy in the situation then you're not alive.
In my spare time I like working on my Jurassic Park website (part of my passion of dinosaurs) and other times working on repairing computers as it can be relaxing. The Encyclopedia on the Jurassic Park website I did is something I would like to find a way someday to acquire the licensing for to get it published for the fans. It's nice to give direction to a few hobbies to make it worth spending time on.
While I've destined myself for a career in computers, which I hope can lead to becoming successful in the field of Web Design given my vintage design capabilities with new flair. I also love dinosaurs and in fact I hope to someday become a Vertebrate Paleontologist or at least go on digs in the summers. As they say amateur paleontologists make a majority of the new discoveries.
In terms of personality. I'm a kind and caring soul deep down inside. I like the boring and simplicity of life at times too, but don't let that scare you I really can be fun. I'm just rather simple, not all that complex really. I also have been told I am articulate/particular in my word choice. The reason for this is while growing up I had a new "vocabulary" word every week. So often I use different synonyms for words and it makes me sound stuffy and mechanized - I'm not. Not a prude by a long shot I just have a higher language skill and don't realize I'm showing it off when I do.
I'm a good person that tries to be there for his friends and loved ones all that I can be. While I can't promise I won't hurt anybody I can try my best to not purposefully hurt anybody. I'll never lie, I'll never cheat, and I'll never steal. Though if there is a problem I will simply come out and say it once I figured out a way to say what I feel without cutting too deep with my words. I do tend to spoil people a lot when I can if I like them. I'm an open person that you can talk to about almost everything with in reference to life and philosophy. I do tend to say what I think when needed, which makes me blunt and I warn people of this before I do say something or I will brood a bit. As said I'm a good person and I have an awful tendency of wearing my heart on my sleeve as well, but I will not be walked over upon.

My Interests

Fishing (it's not about catching fish, it's the act of fishing I enjoy), Hiking, Camping, Star Gazing, Costuming, Baseball (On occasion), NASCAR (not a die hard fan, but I do enjoy watching it just to see who wins), Chess, Fossil Hunting, Web Design, Computer building, Going out just for a ride sometimes, Cleaning, & Cooking.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who could share maybe some common interests as me, wants to hang out, people I've met online through my adventures through the various Internet communities I have been apart of, aliens (random, but I had to say it), and maybe old friends from long ago I picked up from life from the two High Schools that I went to and ITT.

Don Davis

My favorite all-time composer is Richard Wagner.

Other musical tastes:
Not a fan of rap, pop, and country that is available today. I can tolerate musical choices of others even if I don't like it at all and it's not my personal first choice. I can't stand Polka and lack the tolerance for it, but I love Scottish Bagpipes (Yep, weird).

My personal choices are: Three Days Grace, Korn, Fear Factory, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Nickleback, Linkin' Park, Godsmack, Papa Roach, Cradle of Filth, Evanescence, Green Day, Pink Floyd, & The Eagles.

Movies:

Jurassic Park Trilogy, Transformers (2007), What the bleep? Down the Rabbit Hole, Fight Club, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Donnie Darko, Star Wars Saga, Stargate, The Aliens and Predator series of films, Silent Hill, Evil Alien Conquerors, Serenity (Firefly movie), V For Vendetta, Slither, The Matador, Big Trouble, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, Evil Dead series, Die Hard, Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, "Haunted" (1995).
I like a lot of Science Fiction, some horror, comedy, romantic comedies when it calls for it. Not a big fan of drama both in life and not. I generally also like anything that is "outside the box" and makes you think about the world around you.

Television:

Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Torchwood, Mythbusters, Dexter, Burn Notice, Masters of Horror, Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, Scrubs, Battlestar Galactica (Old and the new one), Doctor Who, Family Guy, Firefly, Lexx, Farscape, First Wave, Death Note, Bleach, & Blood +

For Mindlessness: Invader ZIM, Metalocalypse, Frisky Dingo, Venture Brothers, Shin Chan, Robot Chicken, & Moral Orel

Documentaries: I also like to watch astronomy programs on occasion on the Science Channel (and sometimes if I'm really amused with it I'll switch to the NASA channel), I like Computer-Oriented "How-To" programs, Prehistoric Park, When Dinosaurs Roamed North America, the various "Walking With..." series, Dinosaur Planet, Paleoworld, and The Crocodile Hunter (We'll miss you Steve'o :(). I also watch a lot of Animal Planet, Discovery, and the Science channels almost on a daily basis.

Here's some of my previous favorites:

Crichton's Works: Jurassic Park, The Lost World

Star Wars Novels: Heir To the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command, Shadows of the Empire, and the Original Trilogy and Prequel trilogy

Stargate: Bob McCay Movie-based events series. Enjoyed "Stargate SG-1 - Siren Song" by "Fandemonium", and would like to read more.

Philosophy: Friedrich Nietzsche. Lots of things to make you think about human nature and society there.

Heroes:

Real Life Heroes: Dr. Robert T. Bakker, Dr. John Ostrom (RIP), mostly paleontologists.

For Fictional Heroes: Jack O'Neill (Stargate: SG-1), Dr. Daniel Jackson (Stargate: SG-1), Dr. Rodney McKay (Stargate: Atlantis), John Hammond from Jurassic Park, Dr. Alan Grant from Jurassic Park, oh and Batman (Might as well, it's the fictional category)

Favorite Villains: Anubis (Stargate: SG-1), Emperor Palpatine (Star Wars saga), HK-47 (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series - more of an anti-hero though).

The All-Encompassing Jurassic Park 4 Q&A Post.

I noticed a lot of people are determined in saying that Jurassic Park IV is on it's way out, coming out this summer of 2008, or that the script is completed and ready to go. Let me just say everything...

I'm too uninventive for gnifty title tonight

I've been terribly awful about writing in this thing, it just doesn't come to mind some days because I'm too lazy to talk about my day or nothing really "eventful" I feel happens. So, where was I? Oh ...

On the 15th I had my wisdom teeth pulled and it was the most hellish experience I believe I have ever had, aside from my kidney removal in 1997. I had about four of my teeth pulled out and the awful n...
