BIOGRAPHY
Fallen in the music during his teenage, Marco Strat made his first weapons playing drums in a band made up of his childhood’s friends... The repertory went from Kinks to Sex pistols, passing by Acdc and Pink Floyd... His meeting with the electronic music was done through current Acid house at the beginning of the years 1990 thus marking the departure of a growing passion! In 1993 Marco Strat decided to buy decks which would become (in the future) his principal means of expression ! He starts quickly with spinning in various events around the town of Lyon, until playing in the greatest events of the time like "Cosmic Energy" - Tony Garnier hall - Lyon (1st French mega-rave) in 1994. It is about at that time that he meets two others dj active in the Rhone-Alps area : Patrice Moore and St Jean with whom he created a fanzine called "The Kick" in wich they was talking about the beginings of the House Nation. Then Marco Strat enters the Tekmics booking agency in wich were guys like Stephanovitch, Miloch, Miss Kittin. And the majority of the French territory surveys before being seen called up for the military service... An obligatory pause which directed him straight toward to the composition of his own pieces... This was done in 1996 when he left his first 12” called "blue ep" on his own label : Musicolor. This ep met the recognition of many actors of the electronics like L Garnier, Jack de Marseilles, Oxia.... 5 maxis followed, left on his own labels: Musicolor and Moments or on Tekmics recordings, with licences in England, France, Germany, Spain.... After a while he created No Bound in 2004 which purpose was to take part in the musical development of the town of Lyon by organizing events with artists such as Ada, Martinez, John Acquaviva, Damian Lazarus, Wignomy bros., etc... During this period he was resident in the bests clubs of Lyon (Dv1 & Ambassade) and took part of the 2004 edition of one of the best European festival : Les Nuits sonores..
