Im in the army as a Fire Support Specialist and i leave on Aug. 24th for Basic and AIT. hopefully i will be airborne qualified because that would be the shit. ok well thats it and i will possible see people when i come home for christmas, thats if my unit isnt assholes to the DI's. later.Just Remember...I'm from Connecticut. Not New York, not Boston, and sure as hell not Jersey. We don't have parkways here, they're highways, and as far as we're concerned, it's 95, 91... and that's it. We don't go to bars in high school. We drive 65 mph in our SUV's to go to the packy. No Not the liquor store, but the package store... and we make damn sure we get there before 9. We don't have stupid accents, and we lock our doors when we go to New Haven. To us, Hartford is a big city and a scary one. Pretty much everyone has been to Misquamicut beach and the little hotdog stand We love nothing more than watching our Huskies own shit in March. We enjoy a good party in the woods, and we don't mind running from the cops... its exciting. We don't get bunked, hammered, smashed, or plastered here. No, we get cocked and we're damn proud of it. No one really understands why people say Connecticut is the richest state we like to party at bonfires during the summer We all play nutmeg, and thats the way it is. Cow tipping is something to do on those boring weekend days If you dont know how to drive in the snow, then get the hell out of here We only visit Westbrook and Clinton for sports or because they have good outlets We like our Dave Matthews and our concerts where its impossible not to get second hand smoke. Half of the kids in our school have been arrested for weed in their car. Most of our schools are filled with preppy kids, or white kids who think they're ghetto, and we wouldnt like it anyother way.I'm from Connecticut, and I fucking love this place! (well, sorta)To all my friends : thanks for putting up with my shit and I know that most of you are going to college about halfway through the summer so I really hope that I get to see you all before you leave cause if you dont come back for Christmas or anything then the likelyness of seeing me for A LONG TIME is not good.
