About Me

David has recorded with and by Norman Cook, Russell Simins (Blues Explosion), Saul Davies (James), Jonny Milton (Dreadzone, Aswad), Goat, Byron Wallen, Carnival Collective, Sam Flynn, Tics etc.. He has also gigged alongside The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, Aztec Camera, The Go-Betweens, The Brand New Heavies, James Taylor Quartet, Ruby Turner, The Almighty, Dread Zeppelin, The Redskins, Squarepusher, Talvin Singh, Big John Patton, Johnny Lytle, members of Stomp, Huw Lloyd-Langton (Hawkwind), Los Albertos, and many others.
He has worked as a music Tutor for the successful 'Live' music courses run by the Princes' Trust and previously for Access To Music, plus a variety of other organisations facilitating music tuition.
He is currently composing and playing Guitar/Bass/Loops etc with Tics, Tomas Hiltz (with guitarist/ Stick player genius Richard Miles), Bass/FX with 'Carnival Collective', plus Guitar and Loops with No No Nos (for fun)!
The music is two improvised pieces from 'Tomas Hltz'. Plus a Tics instrumental demo of the track 'New Gun', a track from the band 'Goat' in 1993 and two electro tunes 'Ghost' and 'PSP' I made in 2003.
New 'Tics' LP release due later in the year.
